With its interesting past including Australia’s Cattle
King, Sir Sidney Kidman and intriguing stories about
ghosts in the town, there is something for everyone to
enjoy in Kapunda.
Hop on your bike and explore the back roads that radiate
Kapunda has plenty to offer in the way of education,
hospital, childcare, retail and industry.
The town’s mean maximum temperature is 21.6 degrees
Celsius, mean minimum temperature is 9.8 degrees
Celsius and the annual rainfall is 493.8 millimetres or
19.4 inches.

The Fatchen Expressway makes for easy driving from
Adelaide (77 kilometres) or the northern suburbs,
