Halle Orchestra - Brdgewater Hall, Manchester
The Halle Orchestra has concerts at 2.15pm on Wednesday afternoons - once a month
from September to May. I have now been to the first two concerts of the season.
Yesterday I bought tickets for the stalls for £10! I was lucky - arrived at the box office just
as it opened and managed to get a day ticket.. However, they have tickets at a variety of
prices. This concert was first class with Paul Lewis playing Brahms Piano Concerto No.
1 and Dvorak's 8th Symphony. All conducted by Sir Mark Elder. The Hall is an easy
walk from Oxford Road rail station. Concert dates below:
