Marching has become a difficult process for many of our men, therefore, they have elected to eat, drink, reminisce and be merry at their favorite establishment. The past few months have been filled with hospitals and rehab facilities so I can honestly say I agreed with their choice. December finds us headed to Hooter’s again December 13th, 1500 or 3 PM, SATURDAY, for our Annual Christmas Party. (Saturday had to be scheduled due to crowed conditions). A splendid menu with holiday treats await us as will do our raffle with assorted Cookie Baskets galore. This will be our last gathering at this facility because as of next year this time we will re-locate to the Eastern Avenue Hooter’s currently under renovation. We will have more room to gather but still have our usually food and treats. Developments are occurring daily so I will keep you posted. Begging notices for cookies will hit soon. Stay tuned. Our Ladies Auxiliary Monthly Luncheon’s will be moved up to the THIRD Thursday of the month’s November (20 November) and December (18 December) due to the respective holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas. November will find us at Mimi's and December The Cheese Cake Factory. Adjustments had to be made to allow full enjoyment of the holidays for friends and family. We are accepting new membership ladies during the Christmas Party. Enrollment at this time will be $10. When they collect the end of 2015 it will be $20, however please understand, we cover 2 years with that investment 2016-2017. It is cost effect 2 years at a time even though a special allowance was made this year. I have always been blessed with ladies who like to be a part of the Auxiliary even though they work full time. We are National's First Auxiliary. Needless to say, all support without a doubt is very much appreciated. Stay safe and stay tuned!
