Autocoat BT WB 450, 48106 is a fast drying waterborne primer. The product contains
chromate-free active corrosion inhibitive pigments. 48106 should be applied with
conventional or airless spray but can also be applied by dipping. It is suitable as an anticorrosive primer on steel and castings.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Min. 40 microns (approx. 115 microns wet film)
As a first layer under Autocoat BT LV 450
Monocoat DS. We recommend 15-20 µm
(correspond to approx. 50-65 wet film).
Dust dry: approx. 30 min. Tack free: approx. 2
hours. Through dry: 24 hours.
Note: Drying time is influenced by temperature,
relative humidity and ventilation.
Overcoating interval
(at 23 °C and 50 % relative humidity):
With Autocoat BT WB 450 Topcoat IF, Autocoat
BT LV 450 and other air-drying topcoats.
48106 can be overcoated when the surface has
become matt, after around 30 min.
Note: Drying time is influenced by temperature,
Relative humidity and ventilation.
Method of application:
Thinner:
Conventional or airless spray, dip
Tap water can normally be used.
Application viscosity (DIN cup 4):
Conventional spray: 30-60 sec, depending on
equipment. Airless spray: Delivery viscosity.
Dip: 20-25 sec.
NOTE! The viscosity falls quickly when diluting
the paint.
