EXCHANGE CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS
The Exchange Club of Charleston has made five $1,500 scholarships available for students from
the South Carolina tri-county area (Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties) that have
already completed their freshmen year. These EXCHANGE CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS will be
awarded at the end of the fall 2014 semester.
 Each scholarship is $1,500 and the awards will be made on December 04, 2014
 Application deadline is at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2014
Eligibility requirements
 At least a 3.0 GPA
 Demonstrates financial need (2014-15 FAFSA on file: fafsa.ed.gov)
 Permanent residence is in the tri-county area
 Completed the freshman year (or equivalent)
 Demonstrates recent history of community service
 Recipient to acknowledge the Exchange Club Award in a written letter
 Recipient to make every attempt to attend the award ceremony on 12/04/14

 Degree and expected graduation date
 List community service activities in 2014 (20 to 100
words in a bullet point summary)
