All room bidders must register name and address and obtain a bidding number prior to the auction. (Proof of identity may be required) Bidding and advances shall be regulated at the discretion of the auctioneer. The auctioneer shall not be responsible for the correct description, genuineness or authenticity of any lot. If any dispute arises the auctioneer shall have absolute discretion to determine the dispute and may re-offer the disputed lot for sale. No lot illustrated in the catalogue shall be rejected because of any characteristic apparent from the illustration. Each lot shall be at the purchaser’s risk from the fall of the hammer and shall be paid for in full before delivery and taken away at his expense. The purchaser of a lot shall immediately on its sale, if required by the auctioneer, give his name and address and shall pay to the auctioneer the purchase price. Purchasers shall pay a buyer’s premium on the hammer price of 12.5% plus V.A.T. on premium of 23% (i.e. 15.4% gross) No delivery of purchases will be given while the auction is in progress.
