very exciting as we created a marketplace to embrace the best in lighting, staging, rigging, and audio—a
first forum for industry professionals to meet, network, and define new standards for excellence. This year,
the 27th annual LDI trade show and conference spans the week of November 17-23, 2014 in Las Vegas, with
six days of professional training, three days on the show floor, and a new Electronic Dance Music component

The ETCP Council offers Electrical, Arena Rigging, and Theatre Rigging examinations in a
paper and pencil administration at LDI. All three examinations will be given in one session
at 9:00am on Saturday, November 22, 2014.
Interested applicants must submit their application, along with supporting materials and fee, to the ETCP
office no later than October 30, 2014.

its show floor with exhibits, performances, and
educational sessions dedicated to the DJ and VJ
markets. Demo gear, sit in on panel discussions
from industry experts, and network with other
DJs and VJs.
New EDMMC Sound Classes
New this year is the addition of an entirely
separate set of classes addressing audio in
EDM. Todd Konecny and Rupert AG Murray of
Sound Investment Audio will act as co-creative
consultants, leading the sound faculty on
topics ranging from lounge and club installs to
touring festival rigs.
