MIT Enterprise Forum Hong Kong and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation proudly present the coming
forum in the "Distinguished Entrepreneur Series" with a panel of three speakers from academic and the business world.
Technology and innovation is set to grow exponentially and this generation will see the most spectacular technology
advances of any generation. How can Hong Kong take advantage of the rapid technology changes to become a leading
hub for technology and innovation?
This open dialogue will feature Dr. Michael Enright and a panel of experts. In the 1990s, Dr. Michael Enright undertook a
project on Hong Kong’s competitiveness and the role Hong Kong played with respect to the Pearl River Delta, the rest of
China, the rest of Asia and the rest of the world. The project and resulting book, The Hong Kong Advantage, were
instrumental in reshaping perceptions of Hong Kong. Most of the projects projections and predictions about Hong Kong’s
economic future turned out to be accurate.
In an open and fun dialogue format on a Friday afternoon, the panel will share their view with us on the following:
•
What changes are necessary to reshape Hong Kong for the next wave of innovation?
•
Why is Hong Kong the only place in Asia where the vision of becoming the world’s
leading innovation and technology hub is possible?
•
What role can Hong Kong’s leading business families play through the next
generation of leaders?
Join us and learn from the leaders!
