Most hardwood adhesives today contain linear polymer chains that link to other molecules only at each end. AXIOS™ Tri-Linking™ Polymer Technology uses a revolutionary molecule that has three branches similar to a tripod. This allows each molecule to bond in three locations instead of only two, making the adhesive bond stronger. AXIOS™ technology combines the tenacious bond strength of Bostik’s high performance urethane chemistry with the remarkable ease of use experienced from today’s most advanced European, hybrid polymer systems. With moisture vapor protection equivalent to premium moisture mitigation coatings, it’s the go-to polymer chemistry for the ultimate in installation protection and simplicity. When combined with Bostik's patent-pending Thickness Control™ Spacer Technology, its performance is equivalent to the sound dampening properties of cork.
