GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S RAPHAEL-SACKS MEMORIALS Judaism isn’t just what we believe, or the prayers we recite or the laws we observe. It’s also about the way we live. How we interact with others. The values we practice. The customs and traditions we embrace and pass down, from one generation to the next. “My father has taught me – as his father taught him – that Kedushah (holiness) alone isn’t enough. A Jewish life requires a passion for social justice, a devotion to community service and a commitment to tzedakah. The principles of service and charity passed from generation to generation kindle my involvement in such causes as Golden Slipper Club & Charities, Hillel of Greater Philadelphia and American Associates of Ben-Gurion University. They also inspire me to help ease the pain, stress and anxiety felt by others, especially at a time of great personal loss. L’dor, V’dor. It’s who we are. It’s what I am. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, Joseph Levine & Sons continues to ensure that the memories of our loved ones live on in our hearts.” e n i v e L m a d A – JOSEPH BATOFF SUSAN LEVIN BATOFF 3/21/1960 - 4/6/2011 It is past one year my darling SUSAN since you left me and your brother JOEL.
