And “Hieroglyph,” a sprawling
fantasy adventure series set in
ancient Egypt, has already been
given a 13-episode order. Travis
Beacham, a UNCSA alumnus
who was the co-writer of the
movie “Pacific Rim,” is writing
and producing the series.
Among other contenders for
the 2014-15 season that include
UNCSA alums: “Feed Me” on
NBC, a comedy about a dysfunctional family that runs a
restaurant with a cast including
Mary-Louise Parker, and “Bordertown,” an animated comedy
for Fox co-starring Missi Pyle.
