SDI46.7 is used for protecting covered
conductor lines against over voltages
caused by lightning. The device is suitable
for horizontal suspension crossarms, which
are equipped with pin insulators.
The set includes accessories needed for one
phase installation. Main parts of the set are

Installation:
Fasten the bracket to the insulator pin with
the U-bolt. Align the bracket with the
conductor. Fasten the surge arrester to the
bracket and screw the arc horn into the
arrester. Align the arc horn arm
horizontally. Install the connector with its
arc horn and connector cover. Align the long
arm of the connector arc horn vertically,
pointing downwards. Adjust the arc gap to
75 ±5 mm. After the connector is fixed,
sliding the adjustable arrester support
bracket can do fine adjustment of the gap.
The crossarm must be grounded. For this
purpose there is a grounding clamp on the
bracket where the grounding wire can be
fixed.
