Fretheim Hotel har utsikt mot fjell og fjord og er ein stad
der ein kan oppleva storslått vestlandsnatur. Hotellet
var på slutten av 1800-talet ein storgard som husa rike
engelske lordar som kom for å fiske laks. Hotellet vart i
utganspunktet reist i Sveitserstil, og har gjennom åras løp
vekse og utvikla seg i takt med aukinga av gjester. I dag
skin hotellet som eit spanande bygg der den ærverdige
eldre delen står i fin harmoni med den nyaste delen som
vart bygd i år 2000.
Fretheim Hotel has views towards mountains and fjord.
At the end of the 19th century, Fretheim Hotel was a
large farm which accommodated rich English lords who
came here to fish for salmon. The original timber hotel
was built in the Swiss style, but has evolved throughout
the years in line with the increase in tourists. Today the
hotel is an exciting building with the distinctive, stately
old part of the hotel harmonising perfectly, with the
more recent developments built in the year 2000.
