Description:
Stem cell therapy uses stem cells to prevent and treat diseases and health conditions. PRP and stem cell
injections work to treat the following conditions: Arthritis, Myocardial infarction, Osteoarthritis,
Diabetes, Leukemia, Rheumatoid arthritis, Gout and pseudo-gout, Septic arthritis, Ankylosing
spondylitis, Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Stroke, Alzheimer’s.
Stem cells are best viewed as blank cells that can be molded and modified to repair different areas of
the body. Most cells within the body serve a specific purpose and cannot transform or work to serve
another purpose. This is where stem cells come in. It is important to understand that there are different
types of stem cells and each one works in a specific manner to help alleviate pain or heal tissues in the
body. If you would like to learn more about stem cells and how Dr. Dmitri Petrychenko can help, call our
office now.
Stem cells come from a variety of places and each one has not been differentiated yet, which means it
does not have a specific role in the body. This also means that stem cells can be placed into specific
areas of the body to heal and regenerate.
One of the first types of stem cells include embryonic stem cells. These cells come from human embryos
in the body that that roughly three to five days old. These cells are typically taken from the individual
through a process called invitro-fertilization. These types of cells are sought after because they can
change to match almost any type of cell within the body.
Stem cells are a wonderful way to heal conditions such as arthritis, leukemia, and more. Stem cells are
naturally occurring in the body and can be used to help regenerate tissue and turn into other cells to
help aid in healing overall. At Stem Cell and PRP Injections, we work hard to provide you with the
options that you desire. Dr. Dmitri Petrychenko is committed to superior health care services and we
offer the best stem cell implantation in NY. Call our office today to discuss your options now.
At Stem Cell and PRP Injections, we offer stem cell therapy and the stem cells can be implanted into
your body through one of four different ways. The type of implantation you receive will depend on your
current physical condition and the ailment that is to be treated. Typically, patients will require anywhere
from as little as 3 injections up to as many as 15 to 20 injections over the entire course of treatment.
The first method of stem cell implantation at our NYC clinic is through an intravenous option or IV. This
is one of the easiest and safest methods of stem cell implantation and is typically the relied-on option.
The stem cells are delivered to the body via the IV. Anesthesia is not required for this method, which
makes it a wonderful choice for patients. You can expect this option to take up to 30 minutes.
The second method is called Intra-Articular or IA. This method is when the stem cells are directly
implanted into the affected area. This method is done by a licensed professional and us often used for
arthritis.
The third option is Intramuscular or IM. In this method, the stem cells will be implanted directly into the
muscle.
The last option for stem cell implantation is Intrathecal, also known as a lumbar puncture. In this
method of delivery, the stem cells are implanted into the spinal fluid directly. This option is used when
the stem cells need to reach the brain or spinal cord in the patient. This method does require an
experienced anesthesiologist to perform the procedure for safety.
