Carl graduated from Pickard High School in Brenham, Texas and attended college at Prairie View A&M College and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma before earning his Masters in Education. He married Bernice (Parish) Tarver on December 25, 1964 in Drummond, Texas. Carl worked for many years in education and was a school principal and counselor for Tulsa Public Schools before retiring. Carl was an active member at Gilcrease Hills Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and other extended family members. "Jack" Young | John W. “Jack” Young was born in Tulsa, OK on March 29, 1923 to Earl and Ruth (Hagaman) Young. Jack passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 90.
