CELEBRATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT POLICY
WEDDINGS/ENGAGEMENTS & ANNIVERSARY announcements are published in
the Sunday issue of the newspaper. All forms must be submitted on forms supplied by our office. Forms
may be obtained in person at 189 West Main Street, Spartanburg, SC anytime Monday-Friday between
the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm. You may also request forms by calling the
Herald-Journal Celebration Department at (864) 562 7305.
All announcements must be received at the Herald-Journal by 12 noon Tuesday, 12 days prior to Sunday
publication. Photos should be 5 x 7 or smaller, color or black & white, with a clear sharp contrast. Photos
can be emailed to [email protected] in a jpg format. Subject line should include the last names of the
couple and the date the announcement is running. Photos will be returned only if accompanied by a selfaddressed stamped envelope, or you may pick them up from our offices anytime after the announcement
has been published (photos are kept for 1 month).
The Herald-Journal is not responsible for damaged or lost photographs.
Please ensure all wedding and engagement forms are accompanied by an authorization form and are
completed in black or blue ink.
Announcement are published on a pre-pay basis and payment must accompany all announcement
submissions. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard & Discover.
