As a federation in state, county, municipal and corporate workplace campaigns our
objectives are straightforward and rather unglamorous.Yet we recognize the ultimate
result of what we do, through our member charities, is life-changing and eternal.
Becky Colglazier, Secretary

to that end, the Board of Directors of neighbor to nation consists of a team of
individuals who are charity representatives, and private business leaders. In addition to
being committed to raising more support for our member charities, we are dedicated
to excellence in message, fiscal integrity, efficiency, and accountability. In recent years the
Board has built internal systems and created policies to support these principles. the
results have been cost savings, low overhead, and high return for our charity members.
Yet, above all these operational principles neighbor to nation is committed to helping our
member charities to accomplish our goal of being people in deed serving people in need.
Our charities are a group of the finest, most respected and fiscally accountable charities
in the nation. their focus and tasks are varied – supporting America’s military and their
families, disaster relief, feeding children, alcoholism intervention, prison outreach, and saving
lives. Each of our charities shares a passion to overcome disease, despair, and deficiency.
the Board of Directors counts it a privilege to serve our charities and to share in the
fulfillment of their individual missions. As a federation Neighbor To Nation represents
charities in the multifaceted world of workplace giving. We bring the messages of our
charities to the attention of thousands of potential new donors. We steward all pledged
dollars from donor to ntn charities.
We look forward to years of growth for all of our members, and for new members.
We will work hard to increase pledges for the charities we serve, and to deliver those
resources efficiently to them. We will remain committed to sound financial principles,
accountability and transparency in all that we do.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
Dear Friends,

Director, Marketing & Member
Services
throughout 2012 neighbor to nation has served the members of
Christian Service Charities, Human Service Charities of America and
Medical Research Charities in state, county, municipal and corporate
workplace campaigns across the united States. the ongoing support
of workplace employees in more than 100 campaigns in 24 states has
provided much needed care to people around the world. through the
work of meeting basic human needs, medical care and research and
spiritual support by ntn charities, millions of people have been served.
Without the support and donations of workplace donors in meeting these
needs many would continue in life threatening situations. thank you for
helping to change lives.

the neighbor to nation Board of Directors and staff continue to be
accountable and transparent in all of our work. the volunteer Board of
Directors annually signs a Conflict of Interest statement. Donor funds
are distributed to charities efficiently and quickly before the 15th of every
month. Donor funds are clearly marked so charities can identify the
campaign source of the donations. We are good neighbors to a nation of
good givers!
I welcome inquiries and questions about our processes and work. Most of
all I thank our ntn charities and donors for their ongoing support.
Sincerely,
Thomas Youngblood

While ntn members and staff were on the move in 2012 our goals seemed lofty.
With diligence we were able to reach each of them. Managing expenses helped
us work smarter with new processes that will carry into the future of ntn
operations. Spreading the word to potential donors about the amazing work of
ntn members continues to be on the fore-front of our work. As we look to the
future we’ll be focusing on the Changing times and Changing Faces of workplace
giving campaigns.
Accomplishments included:
 33% increase in participant satisfaction of Annual Conference format held in
Colorado Springs in June
 For the second straight year, CFRe accredited ntn webinars to provide continuing
education credits to participants
 Continued to refine recruitment strategy, focusing efforts on reaching out to
charities by personal contact
 Continued downward trend in costs, ensuring more funds get to our participants
 Increased technology redundancy by shifting servers to cloud-based system
 Donor contact information was delivered to participants for acknowledgment
quicker due to improved processes
 Welcomed a great new charity, let’s Cure Cp, to the ntn Family
Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
