In the spirit of our mission, “Developing Today’s Children to Become Tomorrow’s Leaders” Keith Sylvester Executive Director The Partnership for Children is pleased to introduce our newest staff member, Jennelle Lewis. Jennelle joins us as the Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) Coordinator. ABCD is a project that improves the quality of child development services in primary care medical practices by enhancing developmental screenings, referrals and follow-up for children ages birth-5 in the context of the medical home. Jennelle is a native of Goldsboro, NC who received her BS in Family Community Service from East Carolina University in 2004. She was previously employed with ECU Physicians-Family Medicine as an Administrative Support Specialist. Jennelle currently resides in Winterville. Through her role with ABCD, Jennelle will be serving multiple counties, including Lenoir, Greene, Jones, Duplin, Craven, Pitt and Martin. “I am excited about the opportunity to enhance the developmental growth of children and their families, stated Jennelle. ABCD will provide early intervention services and ongoing assistance with medical providers.” Jennelle is very family-oriented and enjoys teaching preschool at her church. She is passionate about ECU (Pirate Forever!) and is looking forward to her new career at the Partnership for Children. Please help us welcome Jennelle!
