Storage units, high & low may be used separately free-standing or grouped together to form a variety of activity settings within large open spaces. All units are constructed from MDF with clear finish, table tops have laminate surface. Overall height of tall storage units (1200mm) gives young children a sense of enclosure whilst enabling adult supervision. Height of units also helps to avoid visual & sound distractions from adjacent activities. Various table heights available for each age group. Open storage units are double-sided and provide children with easy access to resources right at point of use. Table tops hook on to sides of storage units, also a range of panels may be ‘hooked-on’ : mirrors, pin-up, magnetic, book display, book/drawing ledges may be attached to the sides of storage units. The modular nature of the system enables the creation of distinctive environments for each group of children as well as adaption for changing needs. Appearance is simple & unobtrusive - a background to the children and their activities. Units are designed to support a diverse range of social & learning experiences within a visually harmonious environment - a ‘landscape for learning’.
