FREE TO BE FAITHFUL How can you join in an effort to inform, understand and uphold faithful Lutheran positions on important but difficult issues facing America and Christians today? The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s “Free to be Faithful” initiative seeks to present a defense of the important issues of our day: marriage as a lifelong union between one man and one woman, the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, and the rights of conscience for people of faith under a Constitution intended to protect and promote religious liberty. You will also learn about LCMS plans to restore an enduring, faithful, Lutheran presence in our nation’s capital that will partner with like-minded groups in advocacy, education and awareness. We invite you to learn more about this work by visiting www.lcms.org/freetobefaithful and by downloading the Free to be Faithful winter newsletter. CHAIRS FOR THE FELLOWSHIP HALL The Trustees have been replacing our old folding chairs with new, padded folding chairs. Each chair costs twenty dollars. If you would like to speed the project along you may earmark your gift “chairs” and place it in the offering plate. 90 YEARS in 90 DAYS --- KFUO Radio is celebrating its 90th Anniversary of broadcasting the Good News of Jesus Christ. This week, we are decorating our KFUO Christmas Tree. Has someone you know been affected by listening to KFUO: Grandparents, Parents, Spouse, Children, YOU? If you send in a donation in the month of December, or if you make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, we will add both your name and their name to our Tree! Find us at kfuo.org and follow us at Facebook.com/KFUOradio. PRIME TIMERS LUNCH The Prime Timers will be going to lunch, Thursday, December 11, at 11:30a.m. This month's restaurant is Rib City, 4688 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Please sign up in advance on the Prime Timer's bulletin board. ATTENDANCE SHEETS Please record your attendance each Sunday in the red books at the end of each pew.
