KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS –KC’s will hold a
Christmas Dance on Saturday, Dec. 6th from 8 – 11
p.m. The cost is $10 per couple or $5 for singles.
Bring your own beverages….and music will consist
of 50’s, 60’s & 70’s and Country. Karaoke will be
available also. All are invited.
KC Essay Contest has begun for all students 8-12th
grade. Prizes will be awarded in each grade
division with Seniors competing for a $1000.00/4
years scholarship. Entry forms are available at

Dec. 15th.
ST. MICHAEL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT – We are
currently working on casting the St. Michael
Christmas Pageant for the 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve
Mass on the 24th. Any children and teenagers ages
3 and up are invited to participate. Our first
meeting/rehearsal will be Sunday, Dec. 7th at 5:30 in
the church. Please encourage your child to
participate so that we can create a special
experience for all our parishioners this holiday

CYO – Next Lifeteen/Edge meeting will be Dec. 7th.
REJOICE TOUR –John Finch and Rita West will be
at St. Paul this Thursday, December 4th for an
Advent Night and Worship. Doors will open at 5:30
p.m. This is open to all ages and all denominations

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED
VIRGIN MARY - A Holy Day of Obligation will be
celebrated here at St. Michael on Dec. 8th at 8:30
a.m. and St. Paul at 7 a.m. and 12 noon
ST. MICHAEL CHOIR – Parishioners that would like
to join us in singing at the 5:30 p.m. Mass on
Christmas Eve. Rehearsals will be on Dec. 14 and
21 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the church. Please

BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE – We are here to help you and
your family while dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Volunteers prepare meals for parishioners who suffer a loss in
their family. If this committee can be of help to you, please
contact the Rectory. We are always happy to have new
volunteers in this ministry. ….please call Christy Middleton at
638-7398 or Babs Hearn at 638-9319 if you would like to
become a part of this wonderful ministry.
PRAYER MINISTRY – The Mercy Associates are a group of lay
men and women who work with the Sisters of Mercy to further
the charism of mercy in our parishes and community. Since
Sept. 1st we have offered prayer support to over 30 people
through our Intercessory Prayer Ministry. This group of 20
women is committed to pray for each intention several times
each day for seven days. All prayer requests are held in
complete confidentiality. To submit a prayer request, simply
call Fr. Curley or Cindee Griffith at the church, or Mercy
Associate Hilda Moeller at 601-529-6119.
WORLD MARRIAGE DAY 2015 – The Catholic Diocese of
Jackson and the Office of Family Ministry is pleased to
announce that World Marriage Day is Feb. 22nd at 12:30 p.m. at
the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Jackson. There will be
a Mass with a reception following. The Mass honors all married
couples, but invites those celebrating 25th, 50th and 60th
anniversaries or any significant anniversary. Please contact the
Church office to notify them if you would like to attend this
Mass. Deadline is Dec. 28th.
RECONCILIATION SERVICE SCHEDULE –
St. Michael – Dec. 16th at 7:00 p.m.
St. Paul - Dec. 18th at 7:00 p.m.
St. Mary – Dec. 19th at 7:00 p.m.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE NEEDY – Once again we will be
collecting gifts for the Department for Human Services. Please
bring them wrapped and labeled with child or adult and the
appropriate age the gift would go to. Leave them in the
Vestibule area near the Virgin Mary statue. Please make sure
that the gift is still in very good shape.
COURTYARD BRICK GARDEN -- If you are interested in getting
a brick for the next group, please see the Church office. We
will get your order started for the next time our brick man
comes to town.
