Celebrating Our Learning,
Valuing Our Differences,
Achieving Together!
We have been reading the story about the Adventures of the
Wishing Chair. We have written our own adventures of the Wishing
Chair by writing a short narrative about the adventures we went
on with the Wishing Chair. We hope you enjoy our fabulous stories. We dressed up as teddies and trees and
we saved trees from the wood cutter.
We had fun spotting and watching
REAL wildlife running around,
water dragons were everywhere
in all shapes and sizes.
After 2 false starts
Kindergarten finally got to go
on our Teddy Bears Picnic.
We had so much fun learning
about what animals (teddy
bears) need to survive in the
wild!
Some of us went to a rock concert where we listened to the sounds in the gardens.
We made a rainbow from all the
different natural colours we
found on the ground (leaves ,
The baby water dragons were so
cute, they watched us eat our

Farrer P & C Fundraising and Fun Event News FABULOUS FARRER COIN DRIVE Farrer School – you are unbelievable! We have now collected more than 5000 coins, raising over $500 for the P and C. Our donations also include a very small number of coins from New Zealand, USA, the UK, and the Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, Yugoslavia and 3 buttons. I wonder if there are still some Farrer families with unwanted stashes of silver coins… It’s also fine to donate any spare gold‐coloured coins too . Interesting Facts: The coins collected so far weigh more than 23 kg. Our line of 5 cent coins would now be over 60 metres long, that’s more than 31 times Mr Witte’s height. If we lined up our 10c coins, they would be over 36 metres long. That’s another 18 times Mr Witte. WEEK 3 ‐ TOP 5 COLLECTORS so far Class 4P 5Q 2MS 3N KH Number of Coins 1551 1161 628 347 292 KIDS – Keep bringing in your loose change each day and give it to your teacher in the morning. Seasonal Fruit Fundraiser If you love yummy mangoes and/or cherries, please order some for delivery in the last week of term. The order form is supplied in this newsletter. It was Sabrina's baby shower this week. OSHclub was filled with so much love and
sweet memories! We asked the children to bring their baby photos in, which we
placed on a board and invited everyone to guess who the babies were. It was so
amazing to see all the changes that time has brought to us as we grow up. We also
looked at our baby photo albums and shared all the funny stories from our early
childhood. The children had the chance to experience what it would be like to be a Mum or
Dad. Sabrina had a baby doll as her 'pretend baby' and passed it around for the
children to look after. The children showed great care and developed knowledge on
how to look after an infant, such as feeding, putting the baby to sleep, reading stories
and checking the baby when it’s sick. There were so many handmade presents from the children to Sabrina's baby, such
as cards, teddy bears, toys and baby books, Sabrina will keep all of them to
show her little baby as they were the most precious presents from her loved
children's hands!
The big belly race was fun the children also got to experience what it is like to have a
big baby belly!
