Remember “Festive Sweater Day” on Fri., Dec. 19th!!!
There will be a “Neon” Dance on Fri., Dec. 5th at 9:30-11:30, after the boys basketball game. Tickets will be on sale
all this week during lunches for $5/each.
LOST & FOUND ITEMS - - We have numerous water bottles and coffee travel cups, as well as lunch bags, in the
main office. Please stop by the Crow’s Nest to see if your lost item is there.
The Robotics Team is hosting a “Brawl Night”, featuring game tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Brand and
Mario Kart 7!!! Come join us Tues., Dec. 11th, at 4:00 in the Robotics Rm. IA-2 (Mr. Criez’s room).
Attention all students that purchased SUPERFAN T-shirts: They have arrived and are available to pick up at
the ASB Office.
Pictures and ASB cards can be picked up in the ASB office! Make sure you come pick yours up!

Anime Club meets Fridays after school from 2:30-4:00 in Rm. 124 (Mr. Kerr’s Room). Come and join in!
The Sehome High School Student Learning Center is open Monday through Thursday, 2:15 to 4:30 in the Sehome
Library. Western Washington University tutors will return in a few weeks.
Anything lost or stolen, please come to the office & fill out a “Lost/Theft Report”, so when found,
it can be returned to you.
Reminder to Freshmen:
Freshmen Campus is closed during lunch. You are not to leave during lunches.
WTA Bus Passes are available in the ASB Office for $15.
Clubs:
National Hispanic Honor Society is meeting every WEDNESDAY in room 120 during the 10 minute break. Check
in with advisor Mrs. Bobovski to find out how you can help your community and use your Spanish language skills.
Volunteer opportunities include helping your peers with Spanish or ELL students with their English, volunteering at
Community Events such as a Health Fair coming up at Assumption October 4th, working in the Learning Center or
volunteering in the Club de Lectura at Roosevelt Elementary. We are also planning some exciting cultural events this
year! Come and be a part of the planning! You must be a sophomore and have a B+ average in Spanish.

Seniors and their parents are invited to Financial Aid 101, our district-wide event hosted by Bellingham High
on Thursday, December 4th from 7:00-8:30pm. Come learn the basics of financial aid and what to look for
(and what to avoid) regarding student loans. See Mrs. Zender or your counselor if you have questions
regarding this event.
The annual Service Academy Information Night will be December 29th 6:30-8:30pm at the Coast Guard station
across from Safeco Field ( parking is available). The Military academy (Westpoint) , the Naval Academy
(Annapolis), the Coast Guard Academy , the Merchant Marine Academy and the Air Force Academy will be
represented. Learn about application and nomination procedures from cadets currently attending. For more

Mary O’Connel from Rustic Pathways will be visiting Sehome on Tuesday, December 9th during both lunches
. Stop by the table to learn about summer programs and GAP year opportunities all over the world.

Volunteer Opportunity of the Week!
Every year the LightHouse Mission hosts holiday meals for those in need in our community. This is a great
opportunity to show love to these people and have fun! About 500 people are served with the help of 135
volunteers where attention is given to make it a restaurant-style experience serving people at their tables.
Volunteer spots are available for the Christmas meal . If you are available to help between the hours of 10am
and 2pm on Christmas day, please contact Jessica Hess at [email protected] or call 733-5120
ext. 107.
