As a community, we strive to support each other as we build on the successes we have realized over the past decade, and to help each other achieve (and exceed!) our goals for the future. ONLINE: Every year, we continue to grow and improve our efforts as an organization, and the past 12 months have proven to be exceptional in the development of The Project. In 2014, we continued to push forward with our strategic plan goals, expanded into more subject areas with new material collections, and added new voices to the POGIL team with workshops and events in more areas than ever before. WAYS TO GIVE When my colleagues and I began using the group learning approach that became POGIL back in 1994, we wanted to engage students directly in their learning within an environment that better helped them gain meaningful understanding of difficult content. What we ended up with though, was something much more expansive— a continually growing team of dedicated educators that has worked to improve STEM education for more than 10 years.
