Christmas is the time to do it, really well!
The butchery, deli, kitchen and all our
suppliers have been working hard for months
to ensure the farm is brimming with the best
food and drink around with quality, taste and
provenance as high on our agenda as always.
We’ve kept our Christmas order form as
simple as possible with a concise list of
all the essentials. Whether you favour
a KellyBronze turkey, the traditional
Christmas goose or a rib of beef, you can
be sure of one thing – we have the highest
quality, free range meats available. The deli
will be stocked full of the finest cheeses and
tasty award-winning hams. The Gog Magog
kitchen have been cooking plenty of the
sausage rolls that all our customers love so
much, as well as delicious mince pies, so you
can take some of our baking home with you
too. The shop is stocked full of all your tried
and tested Christmas favourites as well as
some new and exciting delicious seasonal
treats. Hopefully, we can help you to serve
a fantastic Christmas feast for your family
and friends this year.

FROM THE BUTCHERY
The Christmas table wouldn’t be complete without a fantastic piece of
meat, and our award-winning butchery team are always on hand to
help you choose the right cut or give advice on preparing and cooking.
KellyBronze Turkey
If you’re looking for a turkey, you really must try one of our KellyBronze
birds they really do have the most rich and succulent meat. They have
been championed by Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, Michel Roux Jnr
and many more top chefs, therefore it is no wonder the KellyBronze
has been named Britain’s best turkey for eight consecutive years.
Goose
The traditional Christmas bird. Our geese are all reared locally and
taste fantastic, one bird will provide you with enough fat to roast
your potatoes throughout the winter.
Beef
For red meat lovers, beef is the perfect replacement for turkey on
Christmas day. All our beef is free-range and dry-aged for at least
28 days making it incredibly tender with a fantastic flavour. You can
pre-order a joint with rib bone-in or out, a rolled rump, rolled sirloin,
fillet or topside. Miles’ favourite is a rolled rump, traditionally sold as
steaks but makes a perfect roast!
Game
If you are after something different we have haunch of venison
pheasant and partridge available to order. All three are local and
completely wild.
Sausages and Stuffing
We offer a range of sausages and stuffings, all are handmade on the
farm using the best cuts of the finest free-range pork and nothing
else! Oh, and our sausages have won Great Taste Gold awards. Our
sausagemeat stuffing is made using apricots, peaches, prunes and
onions and a has been a firm customer favourite for many years.
FROM THE DELI
We love cheese. As always, our team in the deli are happy to give you tasters and help you with
your cheese selection; or why not choose one of our prepared boards.
Traditional cheese selection
1.2kg - Generously serves four people for up to a fortnight or a dinner party of up to 10. Includes
the rich and complex Montgomery’s Cheddar, buttery Colston Bassett Stilton, mushroomy Brie
de Meaux and Ragstone, a lemony but firm Goats cheese.
Modern Classic cheese Selection
1.2kg - Generously serves four people for up to a fortnight or a dinner party of up to 10. Includes
mature and tangy Lincolnshire Poacher (cheddar style), smooth Stitchelton (stilton-style) and
soft, truffle-y Tunworth (Camembert-like), creamy but a little crumbly Cornish Yarg and Hay
on Wye, a small Goats cheese.
French Cheese Board
1.3kg - Generously serves four people for up to a fortnight or a dinner party of up to 10. Includes
our Christmas favourite Vacherin which can be baked or served on the board, a Gruyere matured
for meaty and caramel flavours and Langres which is soft and creamy and infused with brandy.
Vacherin Mont D’or
500g - If you’ve had it before you’ll want it again. If you’ve never tried it, make this the year
that you do! The hands-down, king of the winter cheeses from The Alps. Great on a cheese
board; amazing straight out of the oven!
FROM THE KITCHEN
Gog Magog Mini Sausage Rolls
A firm favourite with all our customers, the team in
the kitchen have been busy baking extra sausage
rolls for your freezer, just pop in the oven for delicious
and easy crowd pleasing food.
Mince Pies
The mince pies made in the kitchen here are very
special, sold in packs of 6 just take home and reheat
when required.
FOR A HELPING HAND
Our range of Cook ready meals and puddings will
help take some of the stress out of entertaining.
The pies are a great way to serve a crowd (we love
the steak and mushroom), while their prepared
dishes included family favourites such as lasagne.
Guaranteed to keep everyone happy with minimum
effort. The new chocolate torte and roulades are a
great alternative to Christmas pudding for your
HAMS
Black Ham
Our great taste award-winning ham. Cured in molasses, porter and
demerara sugar before being roasted overnight.
Marmalade Glazed Ham
This ham is slathered in seville marmalade and fired in a hot
roasting oven for a caramelised result.
Smoked or Unsmoked Ham
Our traditional hams are all brined and cooked at the farm using freerange pork.
FROM THE CELL AR
Remember that we also stock wine, spirits and beer in the deli and are
always happy to adivse. Alternatively, see the wine order form for our
selections and prepared cases.
We now stock a lovely Prosecco and fine champagne because you can’t
have a Christmas without bubbles! Crate Brewery from Hackney
have joined our ever expanding range of beers and ciders. The Black
Cow Vodka partnered with the Black Cow Cheese makes a superb gift
in our wooden wine box.

To minimise any stress, we’ve
put together two order forms, one
for festive food and one for wine
and beer. Simply fill in the forms
and give to one of our friendly
team who can quickly check all is
correct, and help you if required.
Come by and collect your order on
the 22nd, 23rd or 24th December
(not before!)
The only thing to worry about
is placing your order before the
16th December cut-off date.

Hampers
We’ve created a bigger range this year to meet demand
and made it very easy for you to create your own or order
a bespoke one. Ranging from £20, a Gog Magog Hamper
brimming with the best food and drink is a fabulous gift for
anyone. We have a hamper brochure and order form, just
ask a member of staff if you haven’t picked one up yet.
Butchery course voucher
The very ‘hands-on’ butchery course from our awardwinning butchery team is a great evening. Learn about
the animal before breaking down a side of pork and then
enjoy a pork supper with local beer and wine, taking
home the pork shoulder you prepared. Buy tickets on our
website or from the shop, and receive a lovely wooden
voucher making it a great gift. The next courses are the
11th and 18th February.
Big Green Egg
More than just a barbecue, Big Green Eggs are a cooking
sensation which would make an incredible Christmas
gift. These amazing ceramic ovens will not only cook
your perfect Christmas dinner or roast, but also fantastic
pizzas and super slow cooked meats such as pulled pork,
incredible beef brisket and short ribs. We’ll make sure to
pass on all the key tips and tricks for using the eggs as well
as helping you choose the right model and accessories.

CHRISTMAS OPENING TIMES:
You can collect your pre-ordered items at
the following times:
Monday 22nd December 9am-6pm
Tuesday 23rd December 8am-8pm
Wednesday 24th December 8am-2pm
You can pick up a locally-grown tree from the beginning
of December on the farm.
The cafe will be CLOSED during these
times due to a high volume of visitors.
Vouchers
All of our shops will then be closed
between Christmas and New Year and
will reopen on Saturday 3rd January.
