Using ChemDraw program perform the following tasks:
1. Draw the following chemical scheme for the synthesis of Diclofenac

(10 Marks)
Mention the IUPAC name for compound number (2) and paste the name below the structure in
a red color.

Take a copy of compound (1) and rotate it 120 degrees clock wise.
 Determine which is more hydrophilic compound (1) or (2) and why?
2. The following is the IUPAC name of a quinolone antibiotic derivative:

1-ethyl-6-fluoro-7-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-4-oxo-1,4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acid

Convert name into structure using the ChemDraw program.

Calculate the molecular weight and the boiling point.

Calculate the m/z.

Add a brown rectangle frame with shadow around the structure only.
3. Save the document you created using your number and full name (e.g. 10-Ahmed Salah
Mahmoud) at the desktop.
