We’re asking you for donations that can be auctioned. As in previous years, there will be three auctions: Chinese Auction Silent Auction Live Auction This year, we’re asking for donations of gift baskets from each of the various groups in our church (i.e. Partnership Ministry, Vestry, Women’s Group, Men’s Group, Choir and Handbells, Altar Guild, Flower Ministry, Farmers Market, etc.) Each group can select a theme and each person can bring something for the basket or vessel. Arrange the items in a container, give it a name, and wrap it ready to be auctioned. Some Theme Examples: Prepackaged soups displayed in a soup pot Wine & Chocolate basket Spa basket in a foot massager Movie Night Give them fun names like A Cozy Evening at Home, A Romantic Night, or Relax and Enjoy. The opportunities to be creative are endless. If you’re not currently involved in a specific group at St. Monica’s, you can still join in the fun! Create an individual basket, or donate items such as a stay at a vacation home, timeshare, boat trip, or gift certificate for special services (e.g. hairdresser, nail salon package, pet grooming, favorite restaurants).
