Due to the Xmas and New Year period, the Closing Date for bids
has been extended to Friday 2 January 2015
The Council’s Local Neighbourhood Offices will be closed on
25, 26 December 2014 and 1, 2 January 2015
Many of the Housing Associations are closed for 2 weeks
over the Festive period.
To find out when they’re closed please contact them directly.

through a choice based letting
scheme called “EH Your Key to
Choice”
Available homes are advertised
each week here and on our website
at www.keytochoice.scotsman.com.
Free copies of the supplement are
also available at all Local
Neighbourhood Offices, partner
landlords and libraries.
You can bid by selecting up to three
homes every week. Once you’ve
selected your homes fill in the
bidding form. We must receive your
bid by the advertised closing date
which is always 3.30pm on a Friday.
If we don’t receive it by the closing
date you will not be considered for
the homes you have picked. If you
are successful you will be contacted
by the landlord after the closing
date.
Before you can bid you will first
need to register with EdIndex. This
is a partnership between the
Council
and

Housing
Associations and Housing Cooperatives in Edinburgh. You only
need to complete one application
form to register with all the
landlords in the partnership.
EdIndex forms are available from
any Council Neighbourhood Office
or from any of the EdIndex partners.

If a home is withdrawn this may be because it is damaged or the
tenant has decided not to move.
