only by substitutes entering the game. Time at the end of each half may be used to
review records.

team. Unsportsmanlike conduct by any player, coach, or fan is considered grounds for
removal from the tournament. No refunds will be given for those removed from the
tournament. Courtesy and respect for the facilities, as well as proper sportsmanship, is
expected to be observed at all times. Violation of this may result in ejection from the
tournament. This will be at the discretion of tournament officials. Coaches should

B. Pre-Game
There will be a 5 minute warm up period between games. If necessary, it may be reduced to a 3 minute
warm up period if the tournament is running behind schedule.
C. Time Keeping
The game will consist of two twenty-minute halves. The clock will only stop for timeouts, every whistle
in the last two minutes of each half and all of overtime. Half-time will be five minutes, three minutes if
tournament is running behind.
If a team is winning by 20 or more points, the clock will be continuous during the final 2 minutes of the
game.
The clock will also stop for the following reasons:

The clock will stop for official timeouts
D. Overtime
Over time will be three minutes. Only one timeout is allowed in overtime.
E. Timeouts

over into an overtime period. If overtime is needed, each team will receive 1 timeout per overtime.
F. Defense
Full court press may be used unless winning by 20 points or more. Possession of the ball must be clear,
otherwise defense can continue. If possession is clear, defense cannot guard anyone before they cross
half court unless the lead is less than 20 points. Live ball off miss shot or turnover; defense can
continue.
For 3rd and 4th grade only, pressing will be allowed for the last three (3) minutes of each half.

tournament. Fans are subject to removal if they become offensive or discourteous. The tournament
officials or referee’s discretion may be used to remove any player, coach or fan. Anyone ejected must
leave the building.
