Executive class rear seats
Rear seat folding table
Note: A seat position can be memorized only during the 5
second period.
Note: An existing setting for a memory preset button will
be over-written by a new memory setting.
Rear seat massage
To open the table: Pull the table by the handle (1) and
then pull the underneath front edge of the table (2) to
guide it in to it’s final horizontal position (3).
1. Lumbar support adjustment.

1. Massage: Press to turn the massage function on/off.
4. Front passenger seat adjustment: Press to select
and then use switches 2 and 3 to make the required
adjustments.
2. Press to select rolling wave massage.
Note: When front passenger seat adjustment is selected,
switch 2 is used to operate the front passenger seat
forward and backward movement plus the raising and
lowering of the seat. Switch 3 will adjust front passenger
seatback angle.
4. Press to select shoulder wave massage.
Rear seat position memory
To close the table: Pull the front edge underneath of
the table down and then push the table into the closed
position.
3. Press to select lumbar wave massage.
Note: The massage programs have a specific timed cycle
which will need to be re-selected for continuous use.
The Rear seat massage can also be set via the Touch
screen.
Once you have adjusted the rear seats, the settings can
be stored in the vehicle memory for future use.
Care point
Rear seat adjusters should not be actuated when a
LATCH child seat is fitted.
All seating positions can be controlled via the Touch
screen. On the Front climate menu, touch Remote
seats. Now select Remote seat control.
1. Touch to select the seat to be adjusted. Once
selected, the driver can adjust the seat using his seat
adjustment controls on the side of the seat.
2. The seat selected for adjustment will be highlighted
1. Press and hold the switch to return the rear seat to
the Home position. This allows easier entry and exit.
3. Rear easy entry: Touch to turn Rear easy entry On/
Off. When On is selected, the rear seats will automatically
move to the Home position when a rear door is opened,
to allow easier entry and exit.
4. Reset rear seats: The rear seats can be reset to the
Home position by the driver. Touch to enable the driver’s
memory set button (number 3 button) as a reset button
for the rear seats.
2. Memory set button. Press to activate the memory
function.
3. Memory presets. Press one of the preset buttons
within 5 seconds to memorize the current settings.

Adjusting the head restraints

Adjusting the center head restraint
To access the Rear climate menu, select Rear climate
from the Front climate menu.
1. Raise or lower the center head restraint as required.
There are 3 height positions.
Follow the instructions for the design of head restraint
fitted to your vehicle.
2. Tilt the center head restraint forward or back as
required.
1. To raise, pull the restraint upwards, it will click and
lock in position.
Note: Do not use the locking collars to raise or lower the
center head restraint.
2. To lower, press the locking collar and push down on
the restraint.

3. To adjust the angle of the head restraint, press the
lock on the side of the restraint and tilt to the desired
position.
Head restraint with wings
If a child restraint is to be fitted to the rear center seat,
the head restraint must be removed.
To remove:
1. Raise the center head restraint to its uppermost
position.
2. Press both locking collars.
3. Lift the center head restraint out of the seat.
Make sure that the head restraint is refitted once the child
seat is removed.
To refit the head restraint, make sure it is facing in the
correct direction, insert the stems of the head restraint
into the sockets and push it downwards until at least the
first click.
1. Temperature control: Rotate to adjust temperature
59°F (16°C) - 83°F (28°C). The temperature is displayed
on the Touch screen (rear climate menu).
2. AUTO control: Press to switch automatic operation on.
3. Blower speed: Rotate to adjust blower speed. With
blower speed at minimum, rotate the control counterclockwise to switch the Rear climate system off. Press
AUTO to turn on again.
1. Pull the side wings forward into the first or second
position as required.
2. To raise, pull the restraint upwards, it will click and
lock in only one position.
Note: Do not try to raise the head restraint further than
the one adjustment position.
3. To lower, depress both the locking collars at the same
time.
Note: It is not possible to remove either type of rear head
restraints.

4. Air distribution to face: Press to switch on/off. The
switch indicator illuminates when on.
5. Air distribution to feet: Press to switch on/off. The
switch indicator illuminates when on.
6. Seat temperature control: Press the red arrow to
increase and the blue arrow to decrease the temperature.
The LEDs illuminate to indicate the current setting.
7. Climatic seat zone control: Press to select full seat or
seatback only ventilation. The switch indicators illuminate
accordingly.
8. Air distribution to the feet: Touch to turn on/off.
9. Air distribution to the face: Touch to turn on/off.
10.Temperature adjustment: Select the red arrow to
increase and the blue arrow to decrease the temperature.
The temperature setting is displayed above the arrows.
11.Auto: Select to switch automatic operation on/off.
12.Rear seats: Select to adjust the rear seat temperature
and ventilation settings.
13.Rear panel lock: Select to disable the Rear climate
control switches, to prevent the rear passengers from
adjusting the rear climate settings. Select again to reenable the controls.
In addition to the selectable controls, the Rear climate
menu displays symbols that indicate the status of heating
and ventilation functions.
Note: If the Climate control system is switched off,
pressing a rear AUTO button will switch the Climate
control system on.
Note: If the system is in Defrost mode, all rear controls
are disabled and no airflow is available to the rear
occupants.

Touch screen control
Rear media must first be selected from the front Touch
screen Audio/Video menu.
16.Cabin audio volume increase.
From the Rear media menu, select a rear screen. If both
rear screens are required to display the same source,
select Sync.
17.Back to the previous menu.
Select the Source soft key.
From the next menu, select one of the available sources,
e.g., CD. The selected media will be displayed on the
rear screen(s). Touch Source or the Back key to return to
the previous menu where soft keys can now be used for
control of the selected source.
18.Radio band select.

20.Left screen select.
Operating note. While the Rear media menu is displayed on the front screen, the remote control is disabled. The
remote control can also be disabled via the Lock soft key.
21.OK. Confirm selection.
22.DVD MENU.

1. Press and release to turn the screen off.
Press and hold to turn the Rear media system off.

Select the left screen (20) or the right screen (2).

Select a source button, (19) AUDIO or (3) VIDEO.
* Available sources depend on vehicle configuration.
Multiple presses of either button will display available sources in
that category on the selected rear screen.

Limousine mode control
Control of a source that is shared by both the front and
rear systems, e.g., radio, CD, DVD, can be transferred to
the remote control.
Touch the Limo mode soft key. Touch again to return
control to the front screen.
Navigation summary *
To view a summary of the currently set navigation route
on a rear screen, select the remote control button (4)
NAV.
Select (21) OK to return to the previous source.
Alternatively, the screen will default back to the previous
screen after a few seconds.
* Availability depends on market and vehicle
configuration.
Connecting portable media
Rear media USB/iPod sockets and AV sockets are located at
the rear in the center armrest. A 3.5mm AUX socket is located
in the front cubby box. Connect a device to the appropriate
socket.
Devices connected via the AUX socket have no Touch screen
control and must be operated as normal from the device.
USB devices must be connected with the cable supplied by the
device manufacturer. USB devices must use FAT or FAT32 file
format.
NOTE: Do not connect a non-audio device to the USB port.
NOTE: iPod is a trademark of Apple Computer Inc.,
registered in the US and other countries.
Operating note. For iPod audio playback, insert the
connector into the rear USB socket. For iPod audio
with video, use the AV sockets. Disconnect when
leaving the vehicle to prevent iPod battery discharge.
Older iPod devices may not be compatible. Consult
your Jaguar Dealer/Authorized Repairer for details.
