6.0 MCLE Credit Hours (including 1.0 Ethics Credit)
March 19, 2015
Whether you’re a Vermont licensed attorney interested in learning another area of law, or
planning to become licensed in Vermont – this is the course for you! We’ll be at the Hilton
Burlington on March 19th. Overnighting at the Hilton? Let them know you’re with the VBA MidYear Meeting (we have 3 meetings going on!) to receive our group rate by calling 802-658-6500
or click here to make your reservations online!
The Vermont Supreme Court has eliminated the clerkship requirement for experienced
attorneys licensed in other states seeking admission to the Vermont bar. In lieu of the clerkship,
these attorneys must now take 15 hours of CLE focused on Vermont practice and procedure,
6.0 of which must be live credit hours. This program has been approved by both the Board of
Bar Examiners and the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board as meeting the
requirements of the new rule for the 6.0 live credit hours. This 6 hour plenary session is
designed to give you an overview of the major areas of Vermont legal practice and an
introduction to ethics, courtroom etiquette, and professional standards in Vermont.
Don’t forget, the additional required 9 credit hours are now available from our digital library!
Join the VBA to ensure discounted rates on all of our CLEs!
