This course is designed to compliment the two-week
preparation courses, which are primarily lecture based. This
weekend course concentrates entirely on MCQs and is
designed to provide an opportunity to do a large number of
new practice exam questions. This assists in testing and
further developing MCQ answering skills and provides an
opportunity to review important topics.
The course comprehensively covers examinable topics during
14 sessions over the 2 days. Each session is devoted to a
sub-specialty, led by an experienced Physician and centred on
a wide-range of new practice exam questions, specifically
written for this course each year. Each session provides the
opportunity to try the questions, receive a reasoned
explanation of the answers and gain tips on exam technique. It
also provides the opportunity to ask any questions of the
speakers. The final session of the course is used for a short
trial exam. Marks are analysed at the end of the exam and the
spread of marks of all course participants is shown to enable
you to assess how you are performing in comparison to the
other exam candidates.
The course will run from 09:00 to 16:45 on Saturday and from
09:00 to 16:15 on Sunday. Registration will commence at
08:30 on Saturday. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
are included.
This will be the eleventh year that this course has been run
and feedback from previous participants has been extremely
positive and the course ratings very high.
A comprehensive set of course notes will be provided.
Course Venue
The course will be held at the University of NSW, Kensington,
Sydney. Full venue details will be provided with confirmation
of your place.
Course Fee
The fee for this course is $570 (including GST). The fee
includes tuition, course notes, lunch and morning and
afternoon tea each day. The course fee and any travel or
accommodation expenses are tax deductible and you should
seek information from your tax advisor regarding this.
Cancellations within two weeks of the course will not be
eligible for a refund, unless another on our waiting list can fill
your place. Any cancellations giving more than two weeks
notice will be eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administration
fee.

The best way to register for the course is online via our website
www.deltamed.com.au. This will provide you with instant
confirmation of your place and a receipt for your credit card (Visa or
MasterCard) payment. Simply click on the ‘Courses’ field in the
menu then click on the MCQ course you wish to attend (Sydney or
Melbourne). You will need to create a username and password, if
you do not already have one. If you have a username and
password, login with those first and then click on the ‘Courses’ field
in the menu and click on the relevant course. For further detailed

menu.

Money Orders should be made payable to ‘DeltaMed’.
Please note that cheque payments from New Zealand must be made
by bank cheque or international money order in Australian Dollars.

Confirmation
Please Note: You will receive email confirmation and a receipt from us
once you have registered for this course. If you do not receive any
emails from us within the times prescribed below, then there may be a
problem with your registration and your place on the course may not
be confirmed. If you have not received emails from us please, check
your junk mail box to make sure our emails have not ended up there;
and if not, then contact us immediately. If our emails are ending up in
your junk mail, please ensure our email address is in your address
book to prevent this from happening in future.
If you registered Online:
Once you have registered and made a payment online, a receipt will
automatically be emailed to you. Then one of our team will send you
a confirmation email within 2 business days of your registration. You
can also check your registration and get copies of your receipts by
logging in and going to ‘My Home’
If you registered by Fax or Mail:
We will send an email to confirm that we have received your faxed or
mailed registration form. This confirmation email will be sent on the
same day your form is received, if it is received during business
hours. If it is received after hours, the confirmation email will be sent
the next business day.
We will also email you a receipt and confirmation that you have
reserved a place on the course. If you do not receive a receipt within
5 business days of our acknowledgement of having received your
