GRADE 1:
Salary- R275 571-00 per annum (A minimum of four (4) years
appropriate/recognizable experience after registration with the SANG as
a Professional Nurse in General Nursing) plus 1 year post basic
qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment
and Care (PHC).
GRADE2:
Salary- R338 931-00 per annum (A minimum offourteen.(.14) years
appropriate I recognizable experience as a Professional Nurse of which
at least ten (10) years must be appropriate I recognizable experience in
primary healthcare after obtaining the post basic qualification of Clinical
Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care (PHC).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma/ Degree in general nursing and Midwifery.
Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANG) as a 'General Nurse' and
Midwife.
• Proof of current and previous experience endorsed by Human Resources.
RECOMMENDATION:
• Code 08 Drivers license.

Provide quality comprehensive primary health care by promoting preventative, curative and
rehabilitative services for the clients and community.
Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors, other health professionals
and junior colleagues, including more complex report writing when required.
Promote scientific quality nursing care by functioning as a therapeutical team co-ordinating
between hospital and community and preventing medico legal hazards.
Work effectively and amicably at a supervisory level, with persons of diverse intellectual,
cultural, racial or religious differences.
Display a concern for patients, promoting, advocating and facilitating proper treatment and
care and ensuring that the clinic adheres to the principles of Batha Pele.
