LST OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CARE CLINIC
I am very pleased to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Life Support
Team (LST). Our goal is to offer accessible, compassionate and best patient-centered
care and ultimately exceed patient’s expectations. LST objectives and strategies are
all derived from our tagline –‘‘Care with Commitment’’, which also forms the basis of
our existence.
At LST Occupational Health Care clinic we are committed to deliver high quality,
cost-effective and patient-centered clinical services by fostering, promoting and
practicing the evidence based clinical practice model that promotes continuous
improvement in all our operations. We are continuously expanding our clinical
practice and service lines to meet the growing needs of our patient population in
Iraq and specifically in Kurdistan Region.

The clinic is open from 0800-1900 Saturday to Thursday, however emergency
section is operating 24/7.
LST provide 24/7 Hotline manned by a team member who speaks English, Kurdish
and Arabic.
Out-Patient
During the operating working hours, LST
provides GP, specialist consultation,
laboratory, X-Ray and pharmacy.
Outpatient services are provided at the
clinic site Saturday to Thursday from
08am till 08pm. Specialist doctor need a
pre appointment.
Pre-Employment Check-Up
LST does pre-employment fitness such as
physical examination, drug screening,
alcohol

respiratory function test and ECG.

ready to receive patient during the
operating hours.

LST has Dentist clinic that is ready to
receive patients during the operating
hours, pre-appointments is a must unless
emergency case.
INPATIENT SERVICES
LST has a fully manned Emergency
Department based in the ground floor of
the clinic site. The Emergency Response
(ER) Department has 6 trauma rooms
and a fully equipped and manned by 4
beds Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU)
next door.

LST has a fleet of 8 Ambulance vehicles
available 24/7; the service covers Erbil,
Baghdad, Suliymaniah and Basra.
This gives LST full access to all hospital

deliver the best care for our valuable
patients.

FIELD SERVICES
At present LST are involved in
supplying and running medical
facilities on various Rig Sites for our
client all around the KRG.
The doctors and nurses are all
experienced medical practitioners and
able to work autonomously.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE & EMERGENCY
DEPARTMENT
Emergency Hotlines are manned by certified medical
team member who speaks Kurdish, English and
Arabic, who will immediately direct our ambulance
vehicle to mobilize any emergency case. The patient
is then transported directly to the ER Department at
our emergency department of LST clinic or may be
directed to an affiliated Hospital in case of an urgent
surgery is needed. Our clients are issued with an
Emergency Card with both hotline and ER
Department numbers.
Tracking System
LST will provide 24/7 tracking system service for our
clients who are contracted to the LST and personnel
emergency call and paging system.
The GPRS system is covering all over Kurdistan
Region in order to make sure communicating with
our clients in area that not covered by the mobile
network.

TRAINING
LST is certified to deliver First Aid training course to
our clients. LST is able to teach Basic Life Support
with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as an
additional option. The LST instructors are certified
as per the International Medical Corp (IMC). LST
also provide more advanced medical courses such
as Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to suitably
trained personnel.
MEDEVAC
Life Support Team has its MEDEVAC system to
transport the patient with full medical support
till reaching the final destination.
LST is affiliated with MEDIPOL hospital in
Turkey to refer patients if needed for medical
treatment that not available locally.

HSE -Field Inspection
The Project Health, Safety Plan is intended to outline the systems and processes
that will be implemented and maintained throughout the life of any project in order
to achieve the H&S targets, meet the Clients Legislative Requirements and to
effectively manage risks to the prevention of health, safety & environmental harm.
Life Support Team (LST) strive to make sure that HS&E implemented on all
projects meets European/US standards at all times for the complete duration of
the project from mobilization through project execution to demobilization to ensure
the right standards are set from the start of the project.

LST / HES Policy (Health, Safety and Security)
LST shall prepare detailed plans and schedules for the execution of project specific
H&S requirements and shall include the identification of resources, skills,
equipment, and H&S Standards to meet the projects objectives.
a. Key strategies for the execution of project H&S planning shall include:
• LST shall promote a Zero Harm philosophy to both on and off site activities;
• Comply at all times with the requirements of the appropriate Regulator;
• Promoting positive health, safety and environmental objectives as constant values
in any design, planning, training and executing of the work;
• Expanding the ownership for the health, safety and environmental program and its
effectiveness throughout project to all participants;
• Developing the employee’s consistent use of safe practices in their daily work
activities through these of integrated and behavioral based H&S systems;
• Optimizing the use of continuous improvement practices as the basis for Zero
Harm performance initiatives;
• Establishing world class standards that lead a change in health, safety and
environmental culture within the wider community;
• Establishing relationships with any contractors and their employees to promote the
full participation and involvement of the H&S system;
• Only selecting Contractors that are committed to Zero Harm performance;
b. The project shall ensure that there are systematic processes for:
• Identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and at risk behaviors;
• Sufficient job and pre‐task planning and resourcing;
• Effective incident reporting and investigation;
• Continuous improvement of health, safety & environmental performance; through
audits and inspections
• Measuring and providing feedback on the performance and participation in the key
aspects of the H&S program;
• Setting and reviewing objectives and targets for the achievement of both
individuals and teams;
• Recognizing and rewarding individual and team excellence in H&S performance;
• Defining health, safety & environmental responsibilities and establishing clear
guidelines and consequences for non‐compliance.
