For that purpose we use three types of studios: 38 square meters, maisonettes of 70 square meters and maisononettes of 140 square meters. Each house is divided into 14 two-week shares. Each share is valued by the period of use. During the winter the owner can use the resort for two additional weeks with no additional cost. Each owner can choose the type of house and time needed as per the prices that work best for him/her. Time share in Hellenic vs Time share in Hotels. A major difference in Hellenic time shares is the ownership status. There is a big difference between the owner of the property and the owner of the right to use the property in a certain period of time. At Hellenic each lot is sold individually. The buyer pays a share (if he does not buy the whole lot) and gets a title of the lot first. Then the buyer pays four installments for the contract cost. There is not a fixed maintenance and management fee. Each owner is the manager of his/her property and responsible for maintaining the property. The owners own their properties and with a mutual agreement gain the right to use them for a certain time. This option highlights the significance of the investment in the Hellenic. 7 The estimate was based on the rates of a 5 star hotel (Vantaris Palace) built by our organization in 2005 at Chania Crete, aimed to become a waterfront resort for Greek Americans.
