These shows must have been prior to closing date (DECEMBER 10, 2014 or when limits have been reached).
Entries will be rejected if the space on the entry form for Name of Show and Year Where Dog Won a Blue
Ribbon is not completed.
The following dogs are excluded from the Blue Ribbon Requirement:

AKC National Owner-Handled Series - Saturday
(Remember to check the box at the bottom of the entry form)
The AKC National Owner-Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners that
are not professional handlers.
All dogs that are owner-handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers* meet the requirements
for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled eligible at the time of entry using the check
box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward’s book & the catalog. Dogs must
be handled throughout the breed level competition for the regular show by an eligible owner. Professional
handlers, household members and current assistants** to professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in
this competition.
Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Best of
Breed/Variety competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes.
• If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition eligible, it will automatically be OwnerHandled Best of Breed/Variety and be eligible to compete in both the regular as well as the Owner-Handled
group.
• If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is not eligible for Owner-Handled competition and the Best of Opposite Sex
to Best of Breed/Variety is eligible, the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety will compete against the
eligible exhibits of the other sex to determine Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.
• If neither the Best of Breed/Variety nor the Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety are Owner-Handled
competition eligible and Select Dog & Select Bitch are both eligible, the judge is to choose Best OwnerHandled exhibit from the Selects and eligible Winners Dog or Winners Bitch.
• If one of the Selects is eligible, excuse all Champions and non-regular class winners of the same sex and
then choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the remaining dogs of the opposite sex including the eligible
Winners.
• If the regular show Best of Breed/Variety, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety, Select Dog & Select
Bitch are not eligible, the judge may choose any eligible dog who competed in Best of Breed/Variety including
Winners Dog or Winners Bitch as the Best of Breed/Variety for the AKC National Owner-Handled Series.
• If the Best of Winners is eligible, the other Winners are ineligible since it was defeated.
• No class dogs other than the Winners Dog & Winners Bitch are eligible to return to the ring.
The breed will not be represented in the Owner-Handled Group if there is no eligible dog competing in the Best of
Breed/Variety or in Best of Winners competition.
*Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers’
organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay
within the last five years.
**A current assistant is defined as anyone employed by a professional handler on a full-time basis, or, assisting a
professional handler at the show or any show during the cluster/weekend.

Foreign Registry must have won a Blue Ribbon at an AKC show prior to closing date Wednesday, December 10, 2014. The
name and date of the show where the Blue Ribbon was obtained should be stated on the entry form. A dog entered for Exhibition
Only may not compete in any class at this show and is not eligible for any prize offered.
Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries

NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be
shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. Get only to be judged, based on the
merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be
examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy,
or the standard for its breed. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed Competition, or some other Non-Regular Class.
NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - Same as for Stud Dog Class except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.
As the judge's decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no

close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
OPEN SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 15 years and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close,
have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
Master Class: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10
first place wins in an Open Class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with
the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Junior meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and
may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to
the Open Class to complete for the following year.
NOTICE
Juniors with a dog also entered in another class who substitute a dog not entered in this show must remit
$11.00 as an additional class entry fee. Juniors who have entered junior showmanship only who then substitute
another dog will not be charged a further fee.

In accordance with AKC Board Policy, Basset Hounds and Bulldogs are expected to be judged on the ramp
in the Group and Best in Show competitions. This extends to the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition,
the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS
competitions.
This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations.
A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary
prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required.
Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has
no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has
the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

Entries not on official AKC Forms or photocopies of entry forms without agreement and rules on
the reverse side of official AKC entry forms are not acceptable.
Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever
may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of
entries after the published closing date.
All entry forms, must include name and year of show where dog won a Blue Ribbon except those
entry forms for Champions of Record, puppies entered in a Puppy Class Only, Junior Showmanship
Competition Only, Miscellaneous Classes, dogs entered for Obedience or Rally Only, dogs holding
a UD or OTCH Title entered in Exhibition only, or dogs with Foreign Registry.
These are two one-day Benched Shows - All dogs must arrive Saturday no later than 10:00 A.M.
and be benched until 5:00 P.M. All dogs must arrive Sunday no later than 10:00 A.M. and be
benched until 4:30 P.M. See pages 20 & 21 for Benching Request Instructions. Every dog that
is entered and present must be at its assigned location during benching hours or in the exercise
ring, or for a period of one hour prior to the time scheduled for its judging (in Breed/Variety, Group
or Best in Show judging) when it is being prepared for showing. Puppies need not be benched
until after the judging of the breed classes for which it is entered, but THEY MUST ENTER THE
SHOW GROUNDS BEFORE 10:00 A.M. EACH DAY. See AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows,
Chapter 13, Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4. FOR DOGS ENTERED ONLY IN OBEDIENCE & RALLY: One
hour after completion of all obedience & rally classes in which a dog is entered, the obedience & rally
exhibitor may present themselves with proper legal identification [e.g. Driver's License] at the GGKC
Show Office to obtain permission to be excused from the show. All other Benching Regulations apply.
Crates and grooming will only be permitted within designated areas. Violators of this notice will be
subject to action by the Event Committee.
Unentered Dogs are not allowed at these events. Exhibitors bringing unentered dogs to sell will be

1. Fees must accompany entries. This club and/or its Superintendent assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on
the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This club and its Superintendent assume no responsibility for the owner or the owner’s
agent entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete.
2. Admission Tickets: One admission ticket will be provided for each dog with one owner and two tickets for each dog with two or more owners
for each day the dog is entered.
3. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of the judging ring when the steward calls for
the class. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means
it is not the responsibility of the ring steward nor of any agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler when the dog’s
presence is needed in a judging ring.
4. No refund for duplicate entries. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries, but if the entry has been processed, no refund
will be made.
5. The Superintendent or Club will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited whether the result of accident or other
causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at these events is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire
time the dog is on the show premises.
6. Trophies and prizes will be awarded in the judging rings to the persons exhibiting the dog, who will be considered to be the owner or agent
of the owner. All claims for trophies and other prizes must be made in the judging rings before the completion of the judging of the breed, and
the Superintendet's office advised at once, in the event of any discrepancy.
7. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the rules of the A.K.C. and with the agreement on the reverse side of the entry
blanks that accompany this premium list.
8. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by
action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates
of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open
or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes,
lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the
ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of
dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no
refund of entry fee will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline (877) 252-3229.
9. An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog
entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required
for each first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service
Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes,
Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)
10. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection
fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result
in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
11. Unsightly and objectionable advertising matter will not be allowed on the benches. The only ADVERTISING matter permitted are small
signs, no larger than 11 x 14 inches, giving names and addresses of the kennels, the names of dogs, small signs stating that puppies or grown
stock are for sale, or a plaque or emblem indicating the exhibitor’s membership in recognized specialty clubs.
12. Handbills, circulars or other Printed Material may not be distributed or placed on the benches at these events.
13. These are two Benched Shows; compliance with “Rules Applying to Dog Shows”, Chapter 13, Sections 1, 2, 3 & 4 is mandatory. No dogs will
be excused prior to 5:00 P.M., Saturday and 4:30 P.M. Sunday. FOR DOGS ENTERED ONLY IN OBEDIENCE: One hour after completion of
all obedience classes in which a dog is entered, the obedience exhibitor may present themselves with proper legal identification [e.g. Driver's
License] at the GGKC Show Office to obtain permission to be excused from the show. All other Benching Regulations apply. Crates and
grooming will only be permitted within designated areas. Violators of this notice will be subject to action by the Event Committee.
14. Under no circumstances will exhibitors be allowed to change their bench numbers.
15. All bench decorations must be flame retardant. (By order of the State Fire Marshal).
16. No dog shall be on the bench except in its natural show state. Curlers, rollers or any other artificial aids are not permitted.
17. No dog is to be on the bench in an enclosed crate (e.g. metal, wood, fiberglass). Only uncovered wire crates may be used if necessary.
18. No food setups are permitted in the Cow Palace without permission from the food concessionaire.
19. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought into the Cow Palace under the state of California Alcoholic Beverage Control Board Law.
20. CRATES AND TABLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE AISLES OR BENCHING SECTION OF THE SHOW. FURTHERMORE, THE
HEIGHT OF BENCH DECORATIONS MAY BE NO MORE THAN 18" ABOVE THE BACK OF THE BENCH. THESE RULES REGARDING
CRATES, TABLES, AND HEIGHT OF BENCH DECORATIONS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
21. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the
dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members,
and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned
parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may
be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the
event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for
any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular
variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13
in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull
Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels
(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions
of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but
to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or
damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon
any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom,
sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or
in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused,
and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the
aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF
ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND
EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE
RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH
IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular
variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13
in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull
Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels
(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions
of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but
to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a
registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which
indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to
the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “All-American
Dog/Mixed Breed.” Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
