Introducing David Morris International and A-ROSA Cruises
David Morris International (DMI) is proud to represent, market and manage A-ROSA
Cruises throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. With more than 30 years executive
level experience working in the luxury cruise industry, DMI introduced A-ROSA’s
European river vessels in 2013 to the North American market. A-ROSA was founded in
2000 in Germany and operates 11 river vessels throughout Europe. A-ROSA’s migration
to the North American market raised the bar on the definition of “all-inclusive”
European river cruising. Distinguishing itself from the competition, A-ROSA continues
to offer their guests a true “escape from the ordinary”.
Why a river cruise vacation?
SEE THE HEART OF EACH COUNTRY
Unlike cruise ships that sail around the shores of Europe, river cruises take you
directly into the villages, towns and cities along the interior rivers to the birthplaces
of many countries. No need to wait for a transfer as most ports you will walk right off
the vessel and into the culture, history, sites and tastes waiting for you just a few
steps away.
RELAX, UNPACK AND MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME
Hotel stays require you unpack and pack every time you want to see a new location,
never allowing you to really relax with the comforts that await you on a river cruise.
Unpack and pack once and visit a new destination every day without the usual
upheaval of changing hotels. You may wake up in a medieval village, a city world
renowned for the arts or perhaps an epicurean’s dream. Every morning unveils a
new place to explore and treasured experiences yet to be revealed.
SENSITIVE TO MOTION?
The rivers of Europe are more like cruising a placid lake, free of rolling and pitching
waves. It is the perfect solution for those who find car, bus or ocean motion makes
them queasy and unable to enjoy their valuable vacation time.
UNCROWDED AND UNCOMPLICATED
A-ROSA’s vessels carry an average of only 175 guests, thereby eliminating long lines
to embark and disembark. The staff know your name by the second day and there’s
always a place to sit. The ambiance onboard is relaxed, casual and friendly.

Now more choices in 2015!
You choose what to drink
Instead of wine only at lunch or dinner, you choose
from a full bar menu from mixed cocktails, fine
regional wines and spirits throughout the ship
in all venues, all day with A-ROSA’s Open Bar policy,
plus all sodas, coffee, tea, juices and bottled water.
You choose what shore tours to take
Excursions are not assigned to you as they are
other riverboats. On A-ROSA, you receive a 200
euro onboard credit (equivalent approximately
$280 USD) to choose those excursions best suited
to your interests and lifestyle. We believe this is
not a “one size fits all” decision and you should
be in control of your vacation.
You choose how to enjoy dinner
There are sumptuous buffets with preparation
stations for you to enjoy in the dining room or
al fresco on the top deck. Casual and comfortable
is your definition of a great dining experience.
Or perhaps you enjoy a served dinner service
with delectable cuisine, surrounded by fine linens,
crystal and china in a semi-private environment.
Whatever you decide, you can design the perfect
setting for you.
Complimentary stateroom amentites
Your new home away from home provides bottled
water, flat screen TV, complimentary use of robes
and slippers while sailing and plenty of storage.

how important it is to spend your most valuable
vacation time in an atmosphere of casual
sophistication and chic surroundings. All staterooms include private facilities with showers,

Life onboard A-ROSA
Prepare your palate for a
whole world of exquisite flavors
A-ROSA provides many ways to please your palate
with spices and specialties of the many regions
you will visit. Our cooking stations let you
customize your breakfast and lunch selections,
while dinners are an event to please even the
most educated palate. Courses are paired with
a wonderful selection of wines to bring out the
best in each. The dining rooms reveal a synergy
between the vibrant colors of the landscape and
the delicious food on your plate with many locally
grown and harvested ingredients. The summertime outdoor barbecue parties are always fun
and are a culinary celebration of the easygoing
lifestyle onboard A-ROSA.
Pamper yourself while never
losing sight of the panorama
After a busy morning of touring, take some time to
think about yourself and indulge in the fabled
SPA-ROSA. Because guests have very different ideas
when it comes to perfect pampering, A-ROSA
offers a wide range of choices to make your spa
day-dreams come true. A-ROSA’s expert spa and
beauty team is waiting to greet you: treat yourself
to a Lomi Lomi Nui massage, attend the yoga class
or warm your muscles in the sauna with a
panoramic view of the landscape. If walking the
town wasn’t enough exercise, you can continue
in our well-equipped gymnasium with modern
cardio equipment. If desired, you can also work out
with a personal trainer who can put together an
individual training plan for you.

The sun deck – you’ll never
want to come back inside!
Time on the sun deck can be measured in sunsets,
laps in the pool, glasses of wine or the number of
new friends you’ve made. But for most, time just
stands still as you take in Europe’s fabled towns
and picturesque countryside from your chaise
lounge. Then again, time may fly during an exciting
shuffleboard or giant chess game or even practice
your putting game. What really matters is that
you take all the time in the world to do whatever
you want. The motto topside on the sun deck is
“anything is possible, but nothing is required…
just enjoy.”
An active lifestyle awaits you on
A-ROSA – embrace the possibilities
By escaping the ordinary you release yourself from
that which you expect and let life show you all it
has to offer. A-ROSA is the perfect venue for living
life to its fullest, providing an environment which
lets you decide just how adventurous or active you
want to be. Bike through ancient Roman towns or
hike Germany’s Black Forest. Kayak near peaceful
shores, perhaps with swans, geese and ducks or
accompany the chef as he/she shops the local
markets. Whatever you choose to do, you will know
that you didn’t just take a tour… you experienced
Europe to the fullest.

Danube cruises
Bratislava
Danube Delta – Passau to Bucharest
The word “Danube” inevitably conjures up the
classical melody by Johann Strauss II, the Blue
Danube. However the smooth flow of the notes is
soon eclipsed by the beauty, history and culture
of the Danube River and its many UNESCO World
Heritage Sites. Highlights include the spectacular
Melk Abbey, up the hill to see the Esztergom
Basilica, the historical city center of Bratislava, an
evening concert in Vienna’s Hofburg, the old
Residence in the heart of the city, the world-famous
Lipizzaner horses at Vienna’s Spanish Riding School
or a visit to the stunning Salzburg, the City of Mozart.

Rhine cruises
Ghent
The Rhine River flows through some of the most
picturesque scenery of Europe and some of the
best wine growing regions in Germany. The Loreley
Valley is rich with vine-covered hillsides, magnicent
castles and a window into the past where little has
changed in hundreds of years. Visit the famous Black
Forest or perhaps a stroll through the half- timbered
houses of Strasbourg and see storks making their
huge straw nests atop the chimneys surrounding
the city. Or transit from the Rhine through the
inland waterways and canals of Belgium and the
Netherlands for a different view into this beautiful
area of windmills, chocolate and waffles.

limited number available at the Front Desk.
Excursions: Almost all ports of call are starting points
for interesting shore excursions. Shore Excursions will
be available for review online at www.arosacruises.
com no later than six months prior to sailing.
Individual requests for tours are completed onboard,
while some groups may select excursions for the
entire group in advance. Please ask your Travel Agent

excursions offered. The local agencies will act as tour

may change with short notice. Please pay attention
to announcements and information in the daily
program.
Hairdryers: A hairdryer can be found in your cabin
in one of the desk drawers near the mirror.

of the itinerary may have to be completed by bus or
train and in very rare cases overnight stays in hotels
may be necessary.
