programs to you through our City Centers in Kansas City and Wichita.
As we look forward to 2015, we are excited to once again offer our Chapter Sponsorship Program. By
becoming an IIDA Mid America sponsor, your annual contribution provides many benefits including
recognition at every Chapter and City Center event throughout the year as well as acknowledgement in our

HISTORY
IIDA was founded in 1994 as the result of a merger of the Institute of Business Designers (IBD); the International
Society of Interior Designers (ISID); and the Council of Federal Interior Designers (CFID). The goal of the merger was
to create an international association with a united mission that would represent Interior Designers worldwide

Your Sponsorship supports our IIDA Mid America Chapter for an entire year.

• IIDA Mid America Chapter strategic planning efforts
A large portion of our budget goes to Chapter and City Center events including educational CEUs,
networking opportunities, NCIDQ study programs, philanthropic fundraisers and fun, high-profile
design events for our industry.
• IIDA Mid America Chapter annual operations and overhead
This includes financial bookkeeping and tax filing.
• IIDA Mid America Chapter participation with IIDA HQ Chapter Leadership Council (CLC)
Twice a year two board members travel to Chicago to meet with Chapter leaders from around the
country to learn best practices and procedures and find out what other Chapters are working on.
• Lobbyist Efforts to promote Registered Interior Designer (R.I.D.) under a State Enacted Title Act
Each year funds are donated to the Missouri Coalition of Interior Designers.

SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL
If you sign up by December 1st, 2014 you will receive an EXTRA a la carte option. Must make payment to IIDA
Mid America by January 15th, 2015.
SPONSORSHIP SHARING
Sponsors may split / share a sponsorship level with their counterpart(s) or dealership. Splitting the cost of Sponsorship does not increase benefits, it’s up to both parties to agree on how benefits will be divided.
PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE
To better serve you and accommodate your annual or fiscal budgets, the IIDA Mid America Chapter is offering
a Sponsor Payment Plan. Upon signing up in our 2015 Sponsorship Program, you have the option to select (2)
payment dates. The first payment must be made at the time your Sponsorship becomes effective. The second
payment date can be made any time between then and July 1st 2015. Payments can be made by check or credit
card and must be submitted to the IIDA Mid America Chapter VP Industry Relations, Leslie Huckla.
We gladly accept Visa/Mastercard/Amex. Checks can be made out to IIDA Mid America
It is the sole responsibility of each Chapter Sponsor to communicate with their counterpart regarding your level
of sponsorship and how it has been divided.
