Spirit Guided Paintings I
Kathleen Beening
Spirit guided paintings give the artistic insights that bring in visions of peace,
clarity and understanding. Every painting has an intention or an insight captured
in the moment. When you are “In Spirit” and allow the painting to move in its own
direction, miracles can happen. In this class the instructor will share her journey into
the fascinating world of “Intuitive Painting,” where you’ll move away from a realistic
way of painting and into a type of painting where dreams are born. You’ll learn
different techniques, as well as which brush will accomplish what is needed for a
desired effect, as you are guided to choose colors for their placement. By the end of
the class you’ll have completed a beautiful watercolor painting. Any experience level
welcome. A supply list will be mailed prior to the start of the class.

Beer drinkers are benefitting from a falling overall demand for beer in the US and
microbreweries are grabbing a larger share of the market. This cause and effect
is driving beer prices down. The true budget beers we will be sampling are very
affordable and are an outstanding value. To make this sampling objective and to
help you decide if budget beers are worth the cost, you’ll sample higher-priced

RETIRED ADULT PROGRAM (RAP)
How the Earth Works
Bob Nunamaker
This course looks at what went into making our planet—from the big bang, to the
formation of the solar system, to the subsequent evolution of Earth. You will travel
to the center of our planet and out again, charting the geologic forces that churn
beneath our feet to push the continents and seafloor around like so much froth on
the surface of a pot of soup. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis are byproducts of our planet’s ceaseless activity, and you will focus on specific examples
of each to learn why and when they occur. Not only are humans at the mercy of our
planet’s natural forces, but we ourselves have also become agents of change. We are
altering the Earth’s land, water, and air faster than any other geologic process. This
will be another theme of your journey and it is vitally important that we understand
the nature of our geologic powers, if we are to have any hope of controlling them.

I’ll Believe It When I See It!
Philip Clark
The power of belief is greatly misunderstood. Instead of, “I’ll believe it when I see
it”, the truth is, “You won’t see it until you believe it”. The main reason, as you will
experience in the class, is that beliefs are not normally chosen, but given to us
and are completely installed by the time we are 4 to 5 years of age. To establish
individual beliefs requires a process similar to de-programming and then reprogramming. Anyone can learn to do this and we guarantee you’ll have fun and be
