Constructive Conversations on Contentious Issues
MLC Membership Information Class
Thursday, Jan 22, at 6:00 in Friendship Hall
Class originally scheduled today is postponed to February
The fifth evening discussion in the series will be on the subject
of Gun Control. It is a subject on which most Americans have
an opinion. However, if it has been some time since you have
examined your own views, or listened to another who has a
different view, the evening should be worthwhile. The
discussion will be on Thursday, January 22nd at 6:00 at MLC
including dinner served at 6:00. Bring a friend. You can be
assured the conversation will be constructive and respectful.
While Sue is Away
Our Office Administrator Sue Lungstrom is away from the office
dealing with a health concern. While she is away volunteers
are helping out in various ways. Please understand if some of
the bases are not completely covered.

Please continue to submit your Weekly Announcements
and Monthly Newsletter items via email
([email protected]) or by leaving a written copy
at the front desk in office. Newsletter deadline: January
19th

If you would like to help out with office phone coverage,
please sign up on the Office Volunteers Sign-Up sheet
located on Sue’s desk, or call the office at 952-935-3419.


A large worship service volunteer list will be posted in
the hallway listing worship service volunteers &
opportunities. This is just to aid with communication and
help identify holes. It does not replace ministry team
volunteer recruitment efforts.

Please review and make corrections/additions/
updates directly on this list. Changes will be
captured in the office for bulletin preparation, etc.

New servants welcome and encouraged! Sign up
and a ministry team member will contact you!
If you would like to send a card to Sue and her family,
Sue’s home address is Sue Lungstrom, 402 Upplanda
Street, Buffalo, MN 55313

Pictorial Directory Update
Thank you to everyone who had their picture taken for
the pictorial directory. You may still submit your own
photo for inclusion if you wish. There will also be two
make-up photo days in January: January 18 and 25.
We will now be working at adding the photos to the
directory, designing the front pages, and uploading to
our website.
The directory will also be available in print version for
a nominal charge. WHAT?! Yes, because we are not
selling photos, the printed version will incur some
costs for paper and printing. More details to come.
You may request a digital copy of your own photo to
be emailed to you. Again, a printed copy or a digital
copy will incur some cost. Thank you for
understanding this new paradigm!
