Emma Roberts carries
a skipping rope everywhere
Example could be a father soon
T
he ‘American Horror Story: Coven’
star always exercises during
down-time on-set, although she
always keeps wipes handy in case she
gets a sweaty face. Emptying the contents of her bag, she said: “I have a
jump rope for exercising on location
and Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Wipes
for afterward, when I don’t have time to
wash my face. They’re lifesavers.” The
23-year-old actress - who recently go
engaged to her co-star Evan Peters - is
also a horror fan off set, and is currently
T
he 31-year-old singer-songwriter married
Australian TV presenter Erin McNaught
last May and he has now admitted that
he’s lining up as many gigs as possible for this
year because after that the couple will probably
start trying to have children. He said: “This year’s
going to be crazy because I said to my manager
at the end of last year, and my agent, just fill up
this year with gigs because I know Erin’s going
to want kids soon.” Example, whose real name is
Elliot Gleave, admitted that the couple’s parents
think they’ve already started trying because
they both had a lot of time off in Australia over
Christmas and New Year. He laughed: “We just
had a month off so everyone was like ‘I bet
you’re trying, I bet you’re trying’ and her [Erin]
parents were like ‘we’ll just leave you guys alone
for a few hours!’” The ‘Say Nothing’ hitmaker
wants to do as much performing as possible
this year because he doesn’t want to be away if
and when Erin gives birth. He told KISS FM UK’s
‘Rickie, Melvin & Charlie in the Morning’ show: “I
figured I don’t want to be abroad whilst... I don’t
wanna miss the birth of a child you know so it’s
kind of hard ‘cause I’m on tour this year nonstop.
“This year’s going to be very busy. We’ve got
about a hundred gigs already lined up all over
the world.”
Beyonce sacks her manager
reading a Steven King classic. She
added: “I use my iPad for looking at
scripts, but I refuse to read books on it,
so there’s usually a novel with me.
Right now it’s ‘ The Shining’.” And a
much less scary addition to the actress’
handbag is a Spice Girls key ring
because it reminds her of her childhood. Emma explained to Us Weekly
magazine: “Hey, they were my childhood! Baby Spice Emma Bunton was
always my favourite because we have
the same first name!”
Kids change
Mollie King’s life
T
he ‘Drunk In Love’ hitmaker and Jay Z are
now in total control of her career after ditching Live Nation executive Faisal Durrani,
although her husband doesn’t hold an official
professional position. A source told the Daily
Mirror newspaper: “Jay has been heavily involved
in Beyonce’s career for years, and was instrumental in organising the ‘Mrs Carter Show’ World Tour.
“But he isn’t officially regarded as her manager -
she really is independent.” The change in focus is
to make sure her career is handled with her family
in mind, and with the couple reportedly keen to
give their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy a sibling
in the future. The insider added: “Now the couple
have Blue, she wants to make sure her family
come first at all times, especially as there’s talk of
them adding to the brood. “The best way to do
that is to make sure all managerial decisions are
made by her and her husband - together.” A
spokesman for the star insisted Jay Z isn’t
“involved in her management”, and claimed she
has been in control herself for four years. They
explained: “Beyonce has managed herself since
2010 under her company Parkwood
Entertainment. “Faisal Durrani worked for her as
general manager for a very short time. Jay Z is not
involved in her management.”
Heidi Klum
breaks up
with boyfriend
T
he model has reportedly decided to call time on
her relationship with the bodyguard a few weeks
ago, after a year and a half of dating. The couple
had initially got together shortly after Heidi, 40, had
split from her husband Seal in January 2012 after seven
years of marriage. A source told People.com: “Martin
was there for her during a challenging time in her life
and it was something she will always be grateful for.
“Life is about timing. He was incredibly supportive and
they were there for each other, but they’re moving on
now.” Heidi - who has Lou, four, Henry, eight and Johan,
seven from her marriage to Seal and Leni, nine, from
her relationship with Flavio Briatore - has also cut professional ties with Martin, 41. When the couple initially
got together, Heidi said of Martin: “He’s been helping
me for four years now, and he takes wonderful care of
the kids. He plays with them, he protects them. I trust
him.” He was also on hand when to help saved Henry
and two nannies from a riptide in Hawaii which could
have drowned them in early 2013.
M
ollie King says her life has changed now that her bandmates have kids.
The ‘What About Us’ singer has no kids of her own but insists she enjoys
“the best of both worlds” since Una Healy had daughter Aoife Belle with
Ben Foden in March 2012 , Rochelle Humes and husband Marvin had Alaia-Mai in
May 2013, and Frankie Sandford welcomed Parker with fiance Wayne Bridge in
October last year. Mollie told the March issue of Cosmopolitan magazine: “I’ve been
up to the hospital each time after Una, Rochelle and Frankie gave birth. The babies
were literally a few hours old when I saw each of them. Aoife is a year-and-a-half
now and it’s amazing seeing her grow up. “It totally changes your life and I have the
best of both worlds - I can play auntie but not have to do all the nappy changing!
The 26-year-old beauty is in a serious relationship with her American producer
boyfriend Jordan Omley but says she is under no pressure to have kids. She mused:
“One day I would like to have loads of kids, but I’m not quite ready for it yet.” Mollie
- who is also joined in The Saturdays by Vanessa White - felt “really protective” of her
bandmates when they were pregnant and wanted to shield them from criticism of
their changing shapes. She said: “I feel really protective of all the girls especially
while they were pregnant. The press can be really hard on women and their pregnancy bodies. She’s carrying a human inside of her, what do you expect? A
woman’s figure is going to change. I’m so proud of what great mums they are.”
Goldie Hawn happy without marriage
G
oldie Hawn has had an “incredible
ride” with Kurt Russell. The 68-yearold actress has been in a relationship
with the actor - with who she has 27-yearold son Wyatt - for 30 years and though they
are very different people in terms of their
personality, she thinks they have stayed
together for so long because they want
the same things from life. She said
“Relationships are always challeng-
ing because you’re living with someone and
two people are very different but it really is
about, ‘What are your core values? What are
the things that matter to you?’ “Kurt’s quite
different in many ways to what I am, and
vice versa, but we want the same things out
of life and so it’s been an incredible ride
with him. “There’s nobody like him. He’s one
of a kind. He’s true blue and everything he
says he means. You might not like it, but he
sure does mean it. He’s not political, he
doesn’t play games. I just have a lot of
respect for him.” Goldie, who was previously
married twice and also has children Kate
and Oliver Hudson with second spouse Bill
Hudson, thinks though marriage is “nice”, it
has never been particularly important to her
and Kurt. Asked by talk show host Jonathan
Ross why they have never married, she said:
“I don’t know, we just didn’t get married.
The relationship itself is a big
deal. Marriage is a ceremony,
which is nice, and it’s a promise,
which is nice, but you make that
promise every day....”Marriage does
not necessarily mean that you’re
going to stay together and it really has
to do with your will to be together, your
devotion and your ability to listen to each
other.”
