incentives, programs, and new technology designed to support
you on your path to greater health and well-being.

Start off the year by making your New Year’s resolution a reality! Campus Recreation and HEALTHY YOU
are pleased to offer all staff members a half-price
class at the member rate: you pay half; HEALTHY

Weight Watchers Meetings and Reimbursement

Weight Watchers continues at Boston College! If you

Lewis at [email protected]. There is a cost associated with participating in the program.
Through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Boston College
reimburses employees and/or spouses $150 (total
of $150 per family) for participation in Weight

Walk Across Campus
EveryBODY Get Healthy
Launching Spring Semester 2015
This semester, HEALTHY YOU will launch EveryBODY
Get Healthy, Harvard Pilgrim’s new online wellness
platform. EveryBODY Get Healthy is an engaging,
web-based tool that provides health and wellness
information, resources, and challenges. Features
include the Health Questionnaire (HQ), biometric
data record, personalized content based on your
individual health goals, and other interactive tools.
This spring, you will be able to:
•
Attend an on-campus biometric screening and
complete the HQ before May 1 to earn a $125 BC
gift card (available to employees and spouses)
•
Participate in the EveryBODY Get Healthy
hydration challenge and receive a BC t-shirt

KNOW YOUR NUMBERS BIOMETRIC
SCREENINGS
Your cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, and body
mass index measures are key indicators of your risk for
major illness. Harvard Pilgrim clinical staff will provide
free screenings for these numbers.

Our two-month HEALTHY YOU team walking competition returns. New participants will receive a free,
state-of-the-art Fitbit pedometer; registration begins
mid-February! Those who participated in the fall
Walk are already assigned to their spring team and
can use a previously issued Fitbit. Look for communications in early 2015 with more details.

Limited program availability, so sign up fast. First come, first served. No
refunds or transfers.

Please reference the HEALTHY YOU discount when registering to be eligible for the subsidy (ALL benefits-eligibile employees are able to register).

One discounted class per staff member; classes listed are the only eligible
programs.
*Participants in the Fit Club program will only receive the discount if they attend at
least 75% of the classes.
