Internal: all AAT divisions.
External: authors, consultants, training providers, student member
and suppliers.
Major objectives
To contribute to the achievement of AAT’s business plan objectives and the efficiency and
effectiveness of the organisation by:
 contributing to the provision of excellent service to authors, consultants, training
providers and student members, by ensuring the administrative tasks of the
Assessment Production team are carried out promptly and efficiently
 maintaining good communications with other Education and Training sections and
AAT divisions to ensure a coordinated approach to all of AAT’s activities.
Responsibilities
Assessment production

Coordinate contracts and payment in respect of the assessment production team’s content
commissions.

Be the assessment production team’s lead on use of the AX finance system.

Liaise between the assessment production team and its consultants and content writers.

Provide project administration.

Maintain the assessment production team’s workflow documents.

Assist or lead in the investigation and reporting of incidents.

Be familiar with and confident in using SecureAssess as a diagnostic tool.

Triage content queries and respond to basic queries.

Maintain the Assessment Team’s information on the business continuity cascade list.

Communicate effectively, promptly, courteously and accurately with customers regarding
assessment production matters.

Assist in the resolution of general assessment production queries raised internally and externally.

Contribute to the enhancement and effectiveness of the assessment production team’s
administrative processes.

Assist with the testing of new services and enhancements to assessment production’s systems.

Perform other reasonable requests of the Production Managers.

Summary terms and conditions
Salary:
up to £22,500 per annum (depending on experience).
Working hours:
35 hours per week.
Annual leave:
25 days and statutory bank holidays plus two discretionary days for Christmas
(office shuts between Christmas and New Year).
Flexi time:
we operate a flexible working system.
Life assurance:
four times annual salary.
Pension:
AAT comply with its obligations and duties under auto-enrolment legislation in
accordance with the Pensions Act 2008. The current qualifying arrangement for
auto-enrolment purposes is AAT's Group Personal Pension Scheme. If you chose to
increase your contribution AAT will contribute up to a maximum of 10.15%. Further
details would be given on joining the organisation.
