January 7th 2015 Dear Parent/Carer RE: OPTIONS EVENING – WEDNESDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2015 The school is holding an Options Evening for parents/carers of Year 9 students on Wednesday 4th February 2015 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. It is important that your child attends this event also. The aim of the evening is to provide further information on the recommendations we will make with regard to his/her curriculum as your child moves into Key Stage 4. It is an important event for gathering vital advice and guidance on the option packages that are available to him/her and how each package leads to alternative pathways after the end of Year 11. Additional information will be sent home via your child closer to the time which you should bring with you to the Evening. There will be an introduction in the Main Hall at the start of the evening after which parents/carers and students will then move into different areas where Heads of Faculty and College representatives will provide further information and guidance.
