OVERVIEW This course will focus on common and unusual problems of acutely ill and injured children. The didactic lectures, interactive group discussions, panel discussions, question and answer sessions, and workshops will prepare emergency physicians, pediatricians, family physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners and nurses, and emergency care professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of pediatric emergencies. TARGET AUDIENCE Emergency physicians, pediatricians, family physicians, pediatric and family practice residents, nurse practitioners, emergency nurses, physician assistants and emergency care professionals.
