Three hour cruise on canalboat “Watermelody” Between two concerts on Sunday 8 March 12.30 – 15.30 PM:
The Watermelody was built in 1999 by Marque Narrowboats, in
Eccelshall - The Avon to the design of the traditional painted
English canalboats. Three hour cruise including soup, sandwiches / homemade
cornbread, coffee, tea & milk. Festival price: EUR 32,50 p.p. (cruise incl. lunch, coffee,
tea, milk). Other drinks and/or alcoholic drinks can be ordered and paid for
on the canalboat. For reservation e-mail: [email protected] with subject:
canalboat cruise + number of persons. The canalboat cruise is
only possible with a minimum of 15 persons / max 20 persons.

Discover Historical Weesp during a guided walk through this
beautiful riverside town with and experienced guide (1.5h). You
will be taken through the important and hidden spots in the old
town. The tour starts at the 15th century church and goes along
to the synagogue, the town hall, the old streets and into the Fort
at the Ossenmarkt. Festival price: EUR 25 up to 7 persons. Extra person EUR

See the wooden houses
and visit the working
windmill
At your own time and pace

Just a few minutes walk away from the Van Houtenkerk you can
see these pretty wooden houses and then visit the working
windmill (Saturdays open from 10.00 till 16.00, free entrance).
The windmill was recently renovated and still mills wheat - see
YouTube De Vriendschap.
NB When you are in Weesp don’t forget to ask about the wooden
houses (why are they not brick?) and check how many windmills
there used to be in the town - something to do with the drink
industry….
