Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the eligible candidates who
have retired as Sub-Inspector of Police / S.I. (Armed Police) / Subedar / Sergeant / other
equivalent ranks in Army or above ranks for engagement as Enforcement Inspectors and
candidates who have retired as Police Constable / retired Army Jawans etc. or above
ranks for engagement as Enforcement Assistants on contractual basis in Bhubaneswar
Development Authority, Bhubaneswar.

The application in prescribed format (Annexure-A) along with two recent passport
size photographs, proof of residence, self attested copies of educational qualification,
character certificate from a Gazetted Officer and copies of work experience must be sent
by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier so as to reach the Secretary, Bhubaneswar
Development Authority, Akasha Shova Building, Sachivalaya Marg, Bhubaneswar751001, Odisha on or before 30.01.2015. The envelope containing the application
and the documents must be super scribed by mentioning the post applied for.
Any application received beyond the stipulated date, or incomplete in any respect,
is liable for rejection.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENGAGEMENT OF ENFORCEMENT
INSPECTOR & ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANT ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS
IN BHUBANESWAR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.
1.
Applicability
These guidelines will apply to employment of Enforcement Inspector &
Enforcement Assistant in BDA for a period of 2 years and may be extended
subject to satisfactory performance.
2.
Eligibility Conditions:
i.
The Officers retired as Police S.I./ S.I. (Armed Police)/ Subedar/
Sergeant/ other equivalent rank in Army or above ranks may
apply for the post of Enforcement Inspector & the retired Police
Constable/ retired Army Jawans etc. or above ranks may apply
for the post of Enforcement Assistant. They should be below the
age of sixty-three years and physically fit for consideration for
appointment as Enforcement Inspector/ Enforcement Assistant.
ii.
Applicants against whom criminal cases are pending will not be
eligible for consideration.
3.
Selection process:
i.
Selection of candidates will be made through open advertisement.
ii.
There shall be a Selection Committee as may be decided by
Authority
for
the
appointment
of
Enforcement
Inspectors/
Enforcement Assistants.
4.
Tenure, Terms and Conditions:
i.
The engagement shall be made for a period of two years.
The
period can be extended subject to satisfactory performance and
shall not be extended beyond the age of 65 years.
ii.
The engagement may be terminated at any time by the BDA,
Bhubaneswar for unsatisfactory performance on issue of notice of
one month. Further, if any Enforcement Inspector/ Enforcement
Assistant desires to resign he shall do so by giving one month
written notice to BDA.
iii.
The
general
instruction
of
Govt.
in
G.A.
Department
on
engagement of retired Govt. servants issued vide G.A.Deptt.
Resolution
No.23750-
GAD-SE-REMP-0002/2014/GEN
dated
27.8.2014 will be applicable to and binding on the applicants
applying
for
engagement
as
Enforcement
Inspectors
&
Enforcement Assistants.
iv.
The Enforcement Inspectors & Enforcement Assistants will furnish
an undertaking at the time of joining with regard to the truth of
information furnished by them.
5.
Last date of submission of application:
The last date of submission of application is 30.01.2015.
