some of their thoughts with you:
-Cleaned my room and kept it clean.
-Helped my mom make a gingerbread house.
-Doing my school work without fighting.
-Folded all of the laundry for my parents.
-Set the dinner table.
-Helped clean the house.
-I helped with the dogs and helped my sister clean
the birdcage.
-Being kind to each other.
-Getting my sister juice.
-Taking the trash down.
-I helped clear the table.
-Praying for strangers.
-Helped my grand mom clean and move boxes
out of the play room.

SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Fulfilling the Church’s mission of mercy and
the gospel call to love others as we love God.
The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Collection
funds six Catholic agencies that work for the benefit of
our brothers and sisters around the world. In providing
humanitarian aid, resettling displaced individuals and
families, and advocating on behalf of victims of
atrocities such as human trafficking, the organizations
supported by the CRS Collection act from their belief
that every individual is an equal heir of Christ’s love and
care.
The annual Catholic Relief Services Collection
challenges American Catholics to put their faith into
action and to see “Jesus in disguise” in the faces of the
poor, and to support ongoing efforts to respond to their
needs. The funds collected support vital Catholic
programs that share in the Catholic mission of
promoting the sacredness of human life. A small
amount from the collection is retained by the
Archdiocese to help cover local efforts to promote the
collection.
The collection will be taken up in the parishes of the
Archdiocese of Philadelphia the weekend of January 24
and 25, 2015. The American Catholic community and
the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in particular, have
always responded very generously to this annual
collection.
I am grateful for your compassionate response. May
you be blessed for your faithfulness to living the Gospel
and recognizing Jesus in those in need.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap.
Archbishop of Philadelphia
ST. MICHAEL PARISH FOOD PANTRY

County. The food comes from non-perishable items and

Sundays. Food is provided to all who ask and no one is
refused. Please support this most worthwhile mission.
If you are in need of food or know someone who is,
please contact the Pantry directly. Referrals are taken on
a “no questions asked” basis. Please call Mike Walsh
@215-817-5984.

anyone who would like to attend. Please leave your

We are aware that many parishioners are unable to travel
to Washington, D.C. to participate in the March for Life.
Saint Michael the Archangel Parish can “Stand up for
Life” by spending the day in prayer. We will have our
daily 8:00 a.m. Mass followed by Adoration of the Most
Blessed Sacrament and a prayer service in our church.
You are invited to participate as your schedule allows.

Our 2015 Mass Book is open. The hours are

ST. VINCENT DEPAUL CONFERENCE
SEEKS DONATIONS
Our St. Vincent DePaul Conference is made up of parish
volunteers. The Mission of the conference is to help the
poor of Lower Bucks County with the basics of food,
shelter and clothing.
At this time, the conference is in need of donations for
this important work. Donations can be placed in the poor
boxes a the church entrances. In addition, donations can
be placed in the Sunday collection. Checks should be
made out to the “St. Vincent DePaul Conference”.
Every penny collected goes directly to the poor. As an
all volunteer organization, there are no administrative
costs.
Thank you for helping us help others. Your support and
generosity is appreciated.
If God had the ability to create the whole universe
then surely God has the ability to change your life.
(Philippians 2:13). Trust Him.
