It’s here that from 5-8 p.m., the children’s knee-high buffet is featured along
with the Terrace dining menu. The young ones also receive a complimentary
dessert. One of the Cub’s Den attendants will lead the children in an activity
or craft. January themes include My New Year’s Resolutions ( January 7),
Let’s Get Fit! ( January 14), National Hug Day ( January 21) and Super Bowl

is next scheduled for Tuesday, January 20.
Members, arranged in teams of 2-6 persons,

open at 6:30 p.m. with the first question asked
at 7 p.m. Food and beverage service will be

On Tuesday, February 3 from 6-8 p.m., local art company, Painting with a Twist,
will be at EFYCC conducting two instructional painting classes: one for adults and
a separate one for children.
Canvas & Cocktails
An art instructor will lead adult members through the step-by-step process of creating
a masterpiece on canvas. No art background is necessary. All supplies will be provided.
Happy hour prices will be in effect for those wishing beverages. $35 per artist.
Lil’ Artists Canvas with Friends
While the adults are becoming artists in
an adjacent room, the children (ages 5
yrs. & up) will have their own class where
art instruction is blended with fun and
creativity. Canvases, brushes, paints, palettes and easels will be provided. Lemonade and a light snack will be served. $25
per artist. If desired, parents may order
dinner for their children in advance and
have it served at 7:30 p.m.
All canvases need to be reserved by January 30.

Wine 101
Wish to order or purchase wine with knowledge and confidence? Epping Forest’s beverage professionals will be conducting a “Wine 101” class on Thursday, January 22 from
6-7:30 p.m. in which they will teach wine basics. This “taste
and learn” will educate all on the different aspects of wine regions and varietals. A selection of light appetizers will also be
featured. The cost is $15 per person with service charge and
tax additional. Contact 421-2233 for reservations.

Clubs are enthusiastically invited to
attend the GATE Hospitality Group’s
“Culinary Cook Off” taking place on
Friday, January 30 from 7-9 p.m.
at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.
Featured will be the four winning
chefs from preliminary cook-offs conducted earlier in the fall. In this skills competition, each finalist will showcase
their signature dish while members taste and vote on their favorite culinary presentation. Additionally, a certified
sommelier will pair a wine to complement each dish’s flavor profile to help enhance the tasting experience.
EFYCC members are encouraged to come out and cheer on their own Kenneth Tobin as he competes
to win the top prize. The evening of tasting portions, wine, voting privileges and exposure to food artistry

The next Member’s Social with the Fleet will
occur on Thursday, February 5 in the Mansion.
The social starts at 5 p.m. and will feature a
selection of complimentary hors d’ oeuvres
and a member charge bar for beverages. The
meeting will commence at 6 p.m. All Epping
Forest club members are invited to attend this
monthly event.

St. Johns. The Marina rents

sailboats and even Paddleboards. Instruction is also

Epping Forest Aquatic Camps 2015
Spring Break Camps
Registrations are currently underway for the 2015 Spring Break Aquatic Camps (grades 3-12) with three MondayFriday camps featured: March 9-13 * March 16-20 * April 6-10. All in attendance will enjoy such activities as small
boat sailing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and opportunities for fishing. Several field trip excursions exploring
the local water ways will also be included. Each 5-day camp (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) is priced at $300 per member child and
$350 per sponsored child. A daily lunch and snack is included. Register with Harbormaster, Keith Keller at 904739-7150 or at [email protected].
Summer Camps
The 2015 Summer Aquatics Camp will commence on June 1 and continue through July 31. Each of nine weeklong camps (Monday – Friday) will feature a variety of offerings from small boat sailing, kayaking, stand up paddle
boarding, big boat cruising J22, fishing, exploring nearby waters and select field trips via boat. All Activities will be
guided by certified Instructors. Each 5-day camp (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) is priced at $300 per member child and $350 per
sponsored child. A daily lunch and snack is included. Register with Harbormaster, Keith Keller at 904-739-7150

Kids Pizza Party
The next Pizza Party for Kids (4-12
yrs.) is scheduled for Friday, January
16 from 6:30-10 p.m. in the Cub’s
Den. This evening’s theme is “Do
You Want to Build a Snowman?”
with all attending making their own
snowman while participating in fun
games and activities. Pizza, beverages and a dessert treat
will be served. The cost is $15 per child and $10 for each

that all will enjoy participating in a variety of

Epping Forest Kids Camp 2015
Spring Break Camps
Spring Break ’15 is approaching and the Cub’s Den is ready with a fun and educational
program for children (ages 4-12 years). Included will be organized games, recreational
activities, boat rides, fishing, tennis and arts and crafts. Three Monday-Friday camps
are being featured: March 9-13 * March 16-20 * April 6-10. A full-day program (8
a.m. - 4 p.m.) is being offered as well as an extended day program (4-5:30 p.m.). Visit
