**THURSDAY’S SNOW DAY WILL BE MADE UP ON MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 2nd** We will have school on Mon., 2/2/15.
Students may access their report cards online. Please print them
and take them home to your parents if they do not have internet
access.
A Lunch classes should be released in the following order Fri., 1/9Fri., 1/16: Algebra 8A, Key 8B, PE 7AB, FACS 9, Algebra I.
Lunch today: Chili, grilled cheese, cucumbers, baby carrots
w/ranch, sliced pears & fresh fruit.
Breakfast tomorrow – Mini pancakes, fruit, 100% juice, milk.
Lunch tomorrow – Mini corn dogs, baked beans, mixed green salad,
mixed fruit, fresh fruit.

03. GST NOTES: On Wednesdays (every Wednesday)
students must report to their GST advisor. They will stay
there for the entire GST time period.
Life 101 on Wed., 1/14 during GST.

there if you are missing items. The box will be emptied periodically.

10. Open tryouts for the role of Mr. Phillips in this year's one act
play. All males between 7th & 12th grade are welcome to try out
this Mon., Tues., or Wed/ See Mrs. Helgeson or Mr. Menton for info.
11. Senior High Play: If you are interested in trying out for the
senior high spring play, please sign up at the office.
12. JH KNOWLEDGE BOWL:
Junior High Knowledge Bowl. The 8th and 9th graders in
Knowledge Bowl had a very good season and Thank You. Everyone
involved made this a fun season.
SH KNOWLEDGE BOWL:
Senior High Knowledge Bowl. Sign Up Sheet for the Jan 26 meet at
MCC is by Mrs Hendrickson's door. Please sign up ASAP as I would
like to coaches and advisors of other activities know who is
going. Time of meet is 7:00 Bus time to be announced.

Meats Team placed 5th overall as a team, Jake O.-8th, Tyler S.10th, Mitchell J.-14th, and Matt O-17th at the National Western
FFA Meats contest in Denver. Placing's-5th Team, Beef GradingChampion Team, Grading individually Jake-5th, Tyler-6th, Matt-8th,
Mitchell-11th, Retail Identification team-4th, ID individually Jake10th.

15. Yearbook continues to meet on Wednesdays after school.
16. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
If you’d like to be considered for induction to the National Honor
Society, please pick up a form from the HS office.
To be considered for NHS you must have at least a 3.0 grade point
average and be involved in school and community activities.
It takes some time to get all of the required signatures, please start
early. Deadline to have the forms in to the HS office is Fri., 1/23.
If you filled out a form last year, you may just update it for this
year. Those forms are available at the HS office.
If you are already a NHS members, please pick up your form to
update it.
17. Junior High Musical Tryouts will be in the Choir Room after
school on Wed., Jan. 14. Sign up for the PIRATE MUSICAL at the
office!
18. Student Council meeting tomorrow morning 1/13 at 7:45 in
Mrs. Dibble's room.
19. Snow Week is next week. The theme is Fire & Ice. Dance for
grades 9-12 will be Saturday 1/24 from 9 pm until midnight. See
posters in hallways for dress up days and activities.
Sign up in the office if you'd like to ride the bus over from Walnut
Grove, stay for the girls' game, go to the dance, and then ride the
bus back home to Walnut Grove at midnight. Sign up by Wed
1/21.
If you would like to bring a guest to the dance who doesn't attend
school here, please pick up a guest form in the office and have it
filled out and returned BY FRIDAY 1/23.

01. Weekly Progress Reports are due on Wednesdays. Reports are
printed by 7:45 AM on Thursdays.
02. We need a supervisor for an athletic event on Jan. 24. If you
